how do you prounonce the FF6 characters names?i pronunce them like this.
terra=teh-rah
locke=lock-ee
celes=sell-ease
umaro=ume-are-oh
gogo=go-go
relm=realm
strago=strar-go
shadow=shadow
cyan=sai-anne
edgar=edd-gar
sabin=say-bin
mog=mog
gau=gow.
setzer=sets-ser

I pronounce them the same as you except for cyan and sabin I prnounce them Sea-an and Sa-bin and Cel-lez.

Yeah, Locke is Lock, and Cyan is an actual word, it's a color, and it is pronounced sai-anne so yeah

Locke is an actual name. Lock isn't. Woolsey added the e to make it look less stupid. They're prnounced the same, but one is a real name, while the other is a noun. Look it up.Quote:

Random trivia time! It is pronounced "Lock" seeing how he is more then likely named after the English Enlightenment thinker John Locke who had it pronounced the same way.
Heh ive never meet another person who calls Locke 'Lock-ee'. Thats cool. I pronounce Sabin as 'Saa-bin' and Celes as Sell-es. Gau is a weird one, I usually pronounce it as 'Ga-oo'. The rest of them I say the same as boys from the dwarf.
my brother's friend's sister's (wow!) name is celeste or something. and is pronounced sell-est. so i just called her sell-es. say-bin , lock, sai-an , terror when said in slang as terrah , gaw , stray-go , oo-mar-oh , gogo is easy , setzer is same , edgar is a real name , shadow is simple , realm , and mog
I say SEE-leez, TAIR-ah (hard A, like hair-ah with a T), GAW (I thought Gau would be self-explanatory, G with an AU sound), SAY-bin, SAI-an, and OO-ma-roh.
I say "Lockee", even though it's supposed to be pronounced "lock". But no doubt supposed to be spelled Locke, because Lock just would be dumb.
