Im definatly seeing this.....
First one was good, and hoping that the 2nd one will be just as good.
I didn't really like the first one, actually. I don't know whether to see the second one on the premise that it might be good, or to figure it won't be worth the time and money.
What im annoyed about is that Saw II looks like it will have a completely new cast, I wanted it to conclude where Saw left off
(SPOILER) Where the docter goes looking for someone to help him for cutting off his foot and if adam lived, oh, and if danny glovers character lived as well
But it was a great ending to the first one......
chaos: Saw 1 was a very good movie. The plot twist was pretty darn surprising.
Rubedo: Seriously, I couldn't even see it coming.
chaos: Perhaps the second one will be good, but for some reason, my gut feeling is telling me that it's gonna flop.
I dont think it will be as good as the first, but it still looks damn good.....
The first Saw movie was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I could not stop laughing, it was so great. I can't wait to see Saw II.
I'd replace funny with disturbing, i had a nightmare about the women with the bear trap on here head one time, OMG I'd hate to be in her position.....Quote:

Saw it, loved it....it's reeeeally gruesome (Never did see the first....think I just may go rent it...:p) but not randomly so....it's very Silent Hill-ish.
awwww man, Ive got to see this....
i thought the first one sucked *snip*
Necronopticous: IF YOU DO THIS AGAIN I WILL BAN YOU

I'm not sure I'll see it. Haven't seen the first one either, though both look like very good horror movies, I honestly find most horror movies kind of depressing to be honest. Not sure why. Not to mention for some reason I have difficulty handling gore in a horror movie. Maybe because it's usually so over the top. Ironically I can watch things like an operation on TV with no trouble, and gore in things like war movies doesn't bother me. Sometimes, I just make no sense.
A question for Giga Guess
Dont spoil anything, but does this movie carry on the plot from Saw I anyway, or is it a new cast and a new errrr game.....
(SPOILER) Not really, he looks like 60 IMO, cool at the end of Saw one and when they show his identity, sorta made it into a murder mysteryQuote:

I say no ones perfect but as Weezer suggests, "We Are all on drugs, yeah!!"...Quote:

There's a sequal already? What is this. I never saw the first. Haven't heard of a sequal until now. And I have to say that was damn fast. No way did they wait to see how the first on faired before filming this. Did they do it in tandem like LotR movies or some crap? Or is the story tied in a way that it was planned from the beginning like the Matrix movies?
they did that with spider man too, planned it out before the first even got into the cinemas, I guess they are just confident ( cocky ) it was going to be good....Quote:

Hmm, I just wish Saw || wasn't so well known...I think its too good of a movie to be known for the preps. But it is a free country (mine is anyway...at least I think...o_O''). I think that gun device thing is going to be a really big part of the movie. And does anyone know whats up with that freaky clown in the movie anyway? I never really caught on =(
Where did that clown in the movie come into play anyway..is he the lead bad guy? D= Gah I'm so confused ;[ I need a hug
Its a different director on board and the advise given to him by the original people that made it...'dont stuff our movie up'!
Yeah theres a bunch of people involved now! Its not out here yet but ill watch it when it comes out!
I thought the first Saw movie was a huge waste of time and money. Directors such as Takeshi Miike have already accomplished time and time again what James Wan was trying to tackle in this film. Wan completely failed, turning what could have been a pleasing gore flick into a horribly acted bull"whodunnit." I literally spent half the movie thinking "Will this guy just cut his goddamn leg off, already?" There's no way in Hell I'm wasting my time with the sequel, I'll be in Los Angeles tomorrow enjoying what Saw wishes it could be.
I thought the first was really good, it wasn't really all that gory in my oppinion. The second looks like it will be a lot more gory from what I've seen from the previews, I will probably rent it when I can.
i do wonder that, i think its just there to spook people...........Quote:

As for loose ends concerning Jigsaw himself, maybe the Rebirth comic will help add some understanding to his work. I strongly suggest, if you're a fan of the movies, to see the Rebirth comic. Rebirth can be found
here. It contains spoilers for Jigsaw's character, so if you haven't seen the first movie, don't watch the comic.
I'd highly recommend these two movies. Whannel and Wan have bright futures ahead of themselves.
does it leave another sequel ?
Dreddz....without giving away the whole plot, there are a couple of points that hark back to the first one.
That's that thing that keeps on passing on the commercials!! They call that a clown!? And is that supposed to be the villain??Quote:

It was okay. I'm not crazy about it, but I don't regret seeing it.
Gore + plot twist = Saw II.
But one scene that really bothered me was the one where (SPOILER)Xavier (was that his name?) threw Amanda into that hole full of syringes. Horrible. XD
And I haven't seen the first one, so I can't really pass judgement on it. =3
Brrrrrr.....that one I just sat through with my mouth open....couldn't take my eyes off it.
OMG, just saw it, get it, yes you did and it isnt funny.
Well, I prefered the original more, but I liked this one too ..........

In the Rebirth comic it explains that whilst in hospital he saw all the victims he chose for the first film and he used to work in a toy depatment thats where he got the clown thing from.
I will probably see saw II but i will wait until it comes out on video or goes into the cheap theatres (this should happen in a couple of weeks). I loved the first movie, the twist at the end you just could not see it coming. I also had respect for the team who did the first one because they filmed it in like 18 days and it cost something like $50,000 to film. I think some bigtime directors and producers could learn a thing or two from the original Saw team
I havent seen the first or the second one, but, im trying to rent the first one, its always out at the rental stores :mad2:
Saw 2 looks great.. At first i weren't going to bother to see Saw until i saw the Saw 2 trailer. Now i HAVE to see saw 1!
omg this film was hilarious not to mension amazing...loved it all
