From a technical standpoint, they are both great. Both will have popular game libraries and fans.

Not denying that the PS2 and PSX sold well; however, from a hardware standpoint, the PS2 failed badly.

i haven't played any of them ( they haven't even come out yet) but i like the ps2 so ps3 would generally follow up on it...

I would have to say PS3 just because the game selection will probably be better. I only hope that the PS3 has more then 2 controller ports, that was an annoying feature for the PS2:mad: . Does anyone know the number of controller ports the PS3 is supposed to have?
