Does anybody watch that movie? I've rented the DVD so i can listen to the alternate tracks. I watched a deleted scene with the "I Believe" song. But what steve is really singing is about some news anchor dude.

Good movie.
It's a classic movie. I can do all the voices in it, and often redo the entire thing to myself for my own amusement...weeooo, meeoooweee!
I haven't watched this movie in a while, but I always loved it.
I guess I'm in the majority, but I absolutely loathed this movie, and that's actually pretty rare from me. I'm normally happy enough to watch most films but Kung Pow was jsut completely unfunny to me. There's a thin line between spoof and stupidity and, for me at least, Kung Pow crossed it in the first few minutes.
Kung Pow is a classic simply because of its unfettered stupidity.Quote:

That would be Sam Donaldson.Quote:

This movie is great.
"Call me.....Betty"
... this movie was drastically horrible. I stress the drastically and horrible in that sentence. Why you may be asking yourself? Because it was so stupid, it was overdone with so much stupidity. Still funny at times, it was horribly badly funny. xD
Kung Pow! is funny beyond words to me, although I have always, do, and will always hate the CG baby scene since CG babies are absolutely not funny. If Kung Pow! did not have the CG baby scene I might consider it my favorite comedy of all time.
"Excuse me kind blacksmith, do you know where I can find some small rectangular pieces of metal, about an inch and a half in diameter?"
"Right here in my hand!"
A cinematic masterpiece. Most movie critics gave it an F---, I can't imagine why. OK, I guess I can imagine. According to IMDB they're making a sequel. If ever there was a movie that required a sequel, this is it.
What do you get when you a cross an owl with a bungee cord?
This was the single stupidest movie I have ever seen by far. I liked it.
my ass hahahahaha!!!!Quote:

Yes, but I think that was the whole point. The amount of stupidity in that film is borderline art.Quote:

its so stupid that its funny :)
I just watched this movie the other day, on the recommendation of my father. It was, er... Well. Watching the movie itself was mostly painful. However, the real appeal of it comes AFTER you've watched the movie, and you share the in-jokes with other people. Then you can filter the funny from the stupid, which comes in droves in this film.
i'm falling ...your falling....were falling.......WHALE!!!
I'm sure many other people have written this but i cant be bothered reading so...
Kung Pow was o funny because it was so damn stupid!!!!!!!!
I watched it the first time and thought it was stupid, i watched it a second time and was rolling on the floor laughing
"That's a lotta nuts!"
The cow scene, too. The cow seemed like it was tacked on just so they'd have something easy to market.Quote:

Oops! I completely forgot I made this topic!!
Why can't we be more like Sam Donaldson?
Why can't we be more like heeeeee?
ONE--OF US--IS WEARING--A PUSHUP BRA!!!
Yes. It was stupid beyond words. and that is why I like it. I love little stupid things like this. You could say something hilariously funny and I won't laugh, but a flash cartoon where stick people are decapitated when they say "blah" will bring tears to my eyes.
"Take a close look. 'Cause I rule, baby"
"And who do you rule, the large-dark-nipple people?"
Ba na na na na. NEO. Ba na na na na na. SPORIN.
I love Kung Pow. <3
Dammit I wanted to say that!Quote:

It was stupid funny for the most part, except for some of the voices which annoyed be to no end. Anyway some one mentioned them making a second one (sorry dont remember who and i dont want to go through all the posts again) it is in fact already out (at least im pretty sure this is the sequal it might not be). Its called Kung Phooey, but it has none of the characters or even based on the storyline of Kung Pow.
Kung Phooey! has nothing to do with Kung Pow 2 : Tongue of Fury. At the moment there's no mention of Kung Pow 2 on IMDB, which usually means it doesn't exsist in any form, even pre-production.
Actually that wasn't real (about the kungpow2) at the end. It was mostly clips from deleted scenes.
Or then again I could be wrong. I'd love to see a second one. I never saw this one on the big screen.
I bought it for my boyfriend some years ago, he adores it. He loves Betty, he is the funniest character :D The Matrix cow freaked me out a bit.
"Your clothes are red!"
martial arts + comedy?it's great.you laugh because of its stupidity.if you think it's stupid but you can't laugh about it,then you missed the whole point.
"i love you,chosen one...ouiouiouiouioui..."
I'm just a little birdie too!!
"Ah... Chicken go Cluck, Cluck. Cow go MOO! Wanna be an animal, just like YOU!"
Ah, that cracks me up.
"Again with the squeeky shoes..."
Yeah, this old thread doesn't need to be revived.
