If I remember correctly, EotW was created as a place to discuss the September 11th events, not to argue, whine and moan ceaslessly about how other people's opinions and political beliefs are wrong.

When the staff got rid of the Linkshell forum, I wanted to leave the internet forever.
I think I left for a month once because I was upset about some stick in the butt reason. xD That's about it. I love EoFF.
EoTW being taken away is good. Though as Lindy said, EoEo is just as bad, just more emo rather than "LOL UR AMERICA SUCKS AT LIFE!!!"

I left for a very long while once because I thought it wasn't worth it. I left because I was pissed as hell. Too much beef with other members, too much problems, too much crap. Then that is when I started posting at Fools Gold. Nowadays I post a little in both...
I feel less inclined to post lately due to a couple of things, but I'd never formally leave. That'd require caring and effort.

I've never left on my own will. I've not had the internet a few times so, I couldn't post. Other then that I've always posted when possible.
One time, people weren't taking me seriously in a thread I made about how much I hated grand theft auto and how much i liked lame porn, and I got really upset. I took it up with the staff but they didn't hand out any bans so I left forever.

I don't understand why people associate me with that. I never once made a big deal about leaving forever. The one time I maybe had a valid excuse to - when several other people did so after the April Fools joke - I just laughed and stayed.Quote:

I think every instance of me not posting for over a month has been unannounced. Or announced as "I'm off for a week's vacation" and then just not posting when I come back for a couple of months.
