Either they were scenes created for the trailer (like Cloud looking at the "camera") or they were removed for time.

Yeah, I noticed that too. They probably just didn't end up fitting into the final cut.

The Reno and Rude one is a kinda promotional picture.
But about the others.. dunno.

I noticed them as well. Im sure they were created back when the movie was meant to be half an hour long and they just extended and added to the story and ended up not being able to fit them in. Except for Reno and Rude which I think was just a promo picture.

They edited them...they are still there but edited to a different style

I believe they were just pictures to get the viewing publib excited about the new movie. And it did didn't it?

As already noted by Destai, Advent Children was originally intended to be very short. However, the plot was significantly altered and expanded when the movie was lengthened. As a result, certain concepts would have been reworked, and scenes like those shown above (or any screens, for example, where Cloud wields the Buster Sword against Kadaj) would not have been incorporated into the film.

Another scene was the one in my Sig. Cloud never used to Buster Sword in AC...

The motorbike flip is definitely not there. The fight that ensues after the motorbike flip is there and edited as you said but some scenes are definitely gone.

I think i saw those on a trailer on adventchildren.net before advent children came out. But i think it was a promo and reno and rude werent in it.

SummonerYuna if you have it but cant get it to play try downloading divx player and working it through that but i couldnt get the subtitles to work on it.
also if you watch those old trailers with the motocylce flip youll notice that kadaj's face looks different. looks like they took it out cause itd be too much hassle to change the graphics of his face and proably the graphics of it all together. also they proably made those trailers to not give away the real scenes.

Putting some of those cut scenes as extras on a DVD would be nice :p

See my sig - it'll play everything, with subs if you have them, if you leave it at default settings :p

I don't remember seeing Marlene tugging at Vincent's leg in the film, though I swear I saw it in a trailer. I know she hides under his cloak when she was arguing with Cloud, but I don't remember her tugging his trouser leg...Meh, it could just be me.
