I am new, but from what I see....

I am new to this site, but from what I can tell it's a cool site. I hope this is in the right place and I hope to make friends at this site.

This place is similar to www.eyesonff.com forums, but I like this places style a lot more. By the way do you guys have an rp section to your forums.

Try the Writer's Corner, there's usually a RP or three in there. I know of one set in a post-FFVII world by Behold the Void that's been pretty fun.
