Is a teatowel a British thing :confused:
They're for drying kitchen utensils and the like, they usually have scary motif's, sometimes of children's self-portraits or countries.
Mine are all different, baby, no two the same ;)

Blue and white stripes, mostly, but I think there's one that's just plain blue. I saw a green one once, but I think it just hadn't been washed in a while...
Oh, lots of different ones!
I got them for free too 'cause there was no price tag and the check-out guy didn't feel like dealing with it so he just tossed them in the bag. xDQuote:

On teatowels;
Tea-towel, terry toweling, the scurge of my existence as a child. It seemed that it was never time to eat, but always time to do the dishes, trying to instill fun into this much hated chore, bubbles and steel wool from steel sheep.
The tea towels themselves varied. Some had holes in them and would eventually become rags. While they were primarily checkered, some would be of a garish colour, pink, muave, orange, and none of them made that snapping sound like on television when you twirled them.
In the end, I took to carving pieces out of our cutlery drawer.
Plain white.
*Boring*
Right now, the tea towel is red and white checkered. We have all different coloured checkered ones.
Lots of different types. But usually checkered with some other colour.
our tea lowels were 50 cents each from the discount store, so we have bout ten, and they are all of bright coloured strips and patterns, other than those, we have one thats blue with ducks on it.
I have no idea. We have a kitchen?
A kind of fleshy pink.
Black. Why Teatowels though?
