Even if he did say it.. WHY would he say it? Sounds very out-of-character for both Cloud and the game.

That dose seem out of character for Cloud to say. But my favorite line was if you had Vincent in your party when you fought Hojo, (sorry I don’t remember it exactly) Vincent says something like "I was wrong Hojo... The one who should have slept…was you!"
It sounds VERY In character too me...
The Vincent line sounds a bit more believable, but they are both very good lines...
