Um.. A friend of mine set up an LJ for me but I don't really understand the point of it... Is it like a message board?

It's a like a journal that the entire world can see.

Some people use it as a message board type thing with the 'Communities' and the posting of comments.

I use it because I like to document my life (if I forget something that happened on day, I can go to that day in my lj and have a good idea of what it was) and entertain others.

It's kinda like a blog...You can just put things about yourself, what's going on in life,or just random things like Psy and Meat Puppet do..

Yeah, I use my LJ as a journal for my every day life, to show photos and art, and to remind myself of things. I use it as a way to talk to others too, through comments, if I don't talk to them on messangers often. :)

It's pretty much just like a messege board. You can type in whatever you want, and then people comment in it. You can lock it so that only the people on your friends list can read it so there is some privacy. It's a place to record your day, express ideas, and many other things.

I use my LJ to post whatever random crap comes into my head. Sometimes it'll be about my day, sometimes it won't be. And I naturally use it to post random crap about other people's days in their LJs. If anyone, for whatever strange and depraved reason, wishes to add me, feel free to do so as I always add everyone back. Unless you're Joel.

My entries tend to be kinda repetitive at times, since all I ever do is watch TV, play video games, hang out with a few friends and work. You're welcome to take a look, though. :D

I don't usually have much to say... But for some reason there's like 2 or 3 friends that I never talk to. They like to keep tabs on me from my LJ though. And for the sake of anyone else that cares, if anything interesting happens in my life or I feel random, I post about it. But for the most part, I'm not really self-absorbed enough to get too into it (no offense meant to those that are).
