Warnings

Is it possible to lose a warning point after a while of good behavior? Or are the warning points permanent.

They don't exist as such.

Nothing is official, but if you do a long time without doing anything wrong it will be considered when you receive your next warning. After a while, though, troublemakers will make themselves known and the past will catch up with them.

Sleep with either:
1. rubah
2. foa
3. Hsu

Or convert to PiPism.

I never tried to gain favour, that would be unbecoming of me. I just didn't spam for the week that I probably would have been banned in, and now I only spam if the CK's are spamming** in that thread also, I follow the example of our exalted masters.

I got a warning once for saying something very naughty and rude while under the influence of alcoholic beverages...

I haven't been warned, as far as I know (and if I don't know then the CKs are doing a lame job, 'cause what's the point in warning someone if they don't know you warned them? :)) since MAPS in April 2004. But I still get treated like a spammer, so I guess they stick with you for life.

How can you not get any warnings yet still be treated like a spammer? Also, weren't you part of the user note thing?

Hey, that's the same message I got apart from the fact I did take part in the thread.

No, a warning system means that eventually they will act when enough points are accumulated and will have to ban you, EoFF currently has that human touch which makes it so much more enjoyable.
