An Xbox is still an Xbox, and the Xbox 360 isnt crap, its just not to my taste. Thats why I dont like it. Still, hes the one with an Xbox 360, for free !
I would say it's utterly rediculous, but I've probably heard of worse. I hope they find the guy. It's bad enough that they resort to stealing an Xbox, but they held her at gun point. I can imagine that's a difficult trauma to get over.
thtz jus wrong.....gun point............poor girl, wonder if she gave him the xbox
I'm not suprised at all. Its a new, very expensive system, and people tend to get desperate.
He's got a gun!
wtf?
Do you actually think gamers are going out and stealing them for themselves?
Criminals are stealing them so they can sell them, it's not "just an XBox" they can go for well over $1000 on ebay.
xD Win.Quote:

Um, any gamers who are doing this are criminals. Their motives may differ, but that doesn't really matter.Quote:

Well, yes, good point, but he was refering to criminals who steal for money, and I was pointing out that criminals who want games are doing this too.Quote:

Do you honestly think someone desperate enough to do something like that would actually use the Xbox 360? They probably pawned it.
Yeah, I don't doubt it.....prolly got a Quarter of the price for it too.
You obviously don't know many desperate gamers, do you?Quote:

Why do I get the feeling that you didn't actually read any of the thread before you posted?Quote:

Criminals who sell drugs, do other muggings, break into houses because they want the money do this.
Running away, even with a game system as bulky as a 360, wouldn't be that hard. The crime either took place not far from his home (or the place he was going to use/stash it), or he had a car close by.Quote:

Yes, particularly someone who held a woman at gun point. Lots of common sense there.Quote:

I'm pretty damn lazy and I like video games too. But not enough to terrorize and risk killing someone to play smurfing Need for Speed.
They could also just be crazy.Quote:

But that doesn't mean they have to fat!Quote:
