Suggestion for User Notes:
Implement the number system for pages of user notes so that you don't have to load up the first page. It's sort of stressing for dial-up users and it would just be more efficient and involve less clicking for everyone if we could automatically have...

Or just view the first and last page of user notes rather than all the numbers, 'cause that'd be a nightmare on my profile.
It could be implemented like the topic view is, with something like (1 2 3 ...45403800029483).
It's just one extra click.
56k users can use my simplified style. It's very efficient.
56k users shouldn't be allowed online. They should have their own intranet. Then in a few years we round them up and send them off to broadband camp.
Is it just possible to add the option of "Go to last page" straight in the profile, like it has view and post now?
I'll let clout answer this one. I personally don't know if it's possible, and care too little to spend an hour investigating it. If it requires hacking or plugins then I don't want it being done, though.
EDIT: Also, I suggest we wait for this place to upgrade to vB3.5.1 before making any changes. Which may be a while - we're waiting on Cid.
Looks like it would require a code mod, unless you can do mathematical expressions in templates.

I like the idea of only showing the last 100 usernotes. Of course a better idea would be to get rid of them altogether, but that's not going to happen at least until next week.

The first page of usenotes is still listes as "Page 0 of (howevermany)", which is kinda odd.
It's be good if the [view] user notes link took you straight to the last page, rather than the first one, imho.

A quick question, not completely on-topic but I didn't want to make a new thread needlessly.
I notice I can now post Usernotes in other people's profiles. From what I gather it's because I've been a member for however long it's been.
Does this mean I also have the ability to give myself a Custom User Title already or do I have to wait even longer to be able to do that?
The reason I ask is because I can't find how I actually go about giving myself a Custom User Title...
you can post user notes after 3 months. You can have a custom title after 8 months.
Ah man, I have to wait another 5 months?!
