Bahamut beasts on every other option especially in FFIX. Alexander from FFIX gets second.
I just couldn't decide between shiva or bahamut,but i guess i like shiva a tad better..

Definitely, I'd say Shiva. She just has a certain air to her. ...Admittedly, it doesn't help that she's so cool (no pun intended) in FFX, and that I've associated her with my favorite character (Quistis) in FF8.

the king of dragons - thus excluding FFVII. ooh, and he just got [much] stronger in my Final Fantasy IX game...

FFVI - Crusader
FFVII - Hades/Phoenix
FFVIII - Doomtrain/Tonberry
FFIX - Phoenix/Madeen
FFX - Yojimbo

Reasons:
A solid Final Fantasy GF (he's almost in every final fantasy)
He gets to have three 'sprites' in one game (FFVII)
His Mega Flare Kicks ass...
His 'summoning entrance' also kicks ass...
He get's to be in a movie entitled Final Fantasy: Advent Children. :cool:

Tonberry is the awesomest GF, he's sexy, cool, funny, and has that certain something that makes him pure awesomeness.
I guess I'll vote on my own poll, hehe. I vote for Anima. Sure, there are a bunch of other really cool ones but with Anima I was able to kill Omega Weapon in two hits just with his normal attack. But I do really like the espers from VI, Amano is a great artist for being able to design those :)
I had to go with Ark. He's a Transformer! No one beats a Transformer. Wonder if he's an Autobot or a Decepticon :confused:
I'd go with Decpticon. There's something of the Megatron about him.

come on! they could do up to 9999 damage 13 times!
Knights of the Round was very cool, I just never put the time into VII to get it. So I just played my friends file that had it.
Bahamut, overall, its very strong and doesnt take that long in the animation. Ark, KOTR and some powerful ones just take too long to sumon, and I have to PAY Yojimbo, so yeah, Bahamut
