[A] Icicle, Icicle, Where Are You Going?
-
Anything involving winter is an instant plus, but they're also well taken, which is even better. I would have to say I prefer the first one, since it's more focused on the icicles themselves. They all remind me of when I was a kid. :) Well, except the bunnies. :D
Very nice pictures Rye.
-
I love them. The first one especially, you're so lucky to have those sorts of things around you.
-
They're gorgeous, Jesster.
-
>>> Beautiful, Ice rules..
-
-
Now I'm all reminded of Genis from ToS.
Wow, Rye! So pretty!
-
Holy , that's awesome.
-
Wow! *feels really flattered* Thank you so much guys.

Thanks! I wish that I lived in NYC, because that'd have a wicked amount of photo opportunity, but living here has some nice nature-ish photo advantages. :)
-
whooo! they rock :excited: you've got some real good photography skills :excited:
-
Ive never seen an Icicle before.
I Love them, well done Rye ^_^ Id love to try photography some time
-
Never seen an icicle! You poor soul Zeldy! ;_;
Anyway, they're awesome, Rye! :D
-
The icicle ones are great Rye, I can tell that your style and composition is really coming together.
But holy crap, those bunnies are freaky.
-
Lovely. Do you also have versions in color of those pictures?
-
I really love those, they are good Great, wounderful!!:D
-
Thanks, guys! The bunnies are pretty freaky. xD They were more freaky when I put the contrast really high, but I thought that the photo would look better in a more normal contrast

I have colour versions of two of the icicles, the others I can't find. I'll attach those to the end of the post. :) The bunnies were taken in B&W setting on the camera, so no for that.
I have a few new photos that I just took before and played with on PSP7:

Okay, now I love the first one of this post. Or maybe the third.... I can't decide. :(
Thay all look excellent, especially the first one, with the subject of the picture colored and the background B&W.
-
Are these your images, but what is the point of them, excuse me if I sound rude.
-
Thankies Rase~
I took the pictures so that I may capture the power of the icicles using my camera. The icicle power fuels my very soul. Once I have photographed enough icicles, I will have amassed enough power of ice to unleash a permanent winter on the world. That, my dear Nick Schovitz, is the point. :)

>>> Everytime I looks at those icicle pictures I get thirsty..
-
Thanks guys! I only see them in the winter, and I miss them when they melt. xD
-
Yeah. Snow hasn't been coming to where you live much niether, since we both live in neighboring states...
-
Thank you Rye. I personally prefer the color version. I think the green stands out in a very brilliant and nice way.
-
Icicle photography always looks like erotica parallel to me. Really loved this set.
-
Nice!
 Wow, nice. Those are some really good shots. I've been working on photography myself a little bit. None near as good as those though, you capture the light, and color in the color shots, very well.
I was wondering though, what kind of camera did you use? I have a nice digi camera on the way, but currently have been using a school camera(film), with black and white film. The contrast doesn't come out as good as I would like, however. Anyways, I was just really curious on what you use. Any info would be cool. :mog:
