Scottish Meet Up

But anyhoo the meet up is in Scotland in Glasgow on Saturday 7th January at central station (in front of BURGER KING!!) id advise you not to buy anything you have been warned :shifty:
Because we shall be going to the cinema with a movie of choice have a skip in the Park and enjoy watching people with strange hair do's :rolleyes2

Maybe: Loony BoB (i swear we won't kidnap you :D) The Stalker and other strange looking peoples if you have any ideas for meet up post away and if you want to come and can tell me thank you :)

By "Scottish meet-up" I assume you mean "Scottish punch-up", since violence is all you Scots understand.

I'm going to see King Kong on Tuesday (a week today) with college for media studies. I go out with my cousins every christmas eve (a couple of brats) and apparently I'll be watching King Kong there... So please, God no, not King Kong! And Narnia doesn't really appeal, but what the hey. :tongue:

New Zealand>Scotland

NZ may be better than Scotland but NZ costs thousands to get to, so I won't be going back there for even a visit until probably around 2007.

I will, however, probably go to this meetup.

Also, although dates and stuff won't be planned until closer to the time, I will be inviting pretty much anyone I know to come around to my place in August for the Edinburgh Festival. More on that closer to the time. It'll be for 1-2 weeks, though, so people who are coming from a bit further away can make something out of the costs required to get here.

Secondly I am 98.4% certain that I will be coming to the meet-up if that is still ok? ^_^

I seriously considered comnig, but then found out my train ticket is £46 and i would only beable to stay like 2 days :( so too much moneys for far distance.

All Scots are ginger and drunk, but not all drunk ginger people are Scottish. For example, ginger people could be English (And alchohol does exist in England, thus making it a reasonable assumption that there has at some point been a drunk, ginger Englishman, as shameful as that is.), whilst drunk people could be Russian. However, it is extremely likely that someone both drunk and ginger is Scottish.

Well, I've been thinking about the whole King Kong business. I think it might be a better idea if we don't see King Kong, as it is very long, and it might be better if we go see a different movie that's not as long. Just a thought. What does everyone else think?

I could come, very easily. I'd just travel up with Squinn, and I know Glasgow well enough (at least the part concerned... right?).

It's not an official thing and there aren't any set dates for the coming years, but I would expect one or two meetups per year (even if they're just a few people) as time moves on, yes.

King Kong?
I have seen that twice already and it is boring. The second time I went to see it my friend had to crack racist jokes to keep me awake, but that wasn't enough :(
