There's a nearby radio station called Light 99.9 that plays all light rock throughout the normal year, which I hated when my dad would insist on listening to it anywhere we went. However, this same station that I had already grown to hate decided one year that, from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it would change its play format to all Christmas music all the time. Given that I used to not be able to travel independantly of my parents, I had to ride in the car with them, and since it was the holidays and all, we went a lot of places. This lead to an oversaturation of holiday songs.
For three, maybe four years, I had to put up with this. I like some Christmas music - choir stuff is good - but I absolutely smurfing abhor most of it.
