Well, this is my first year getting Christmas presents for others, and also my first time present wrapping. I got 10 presents so far, and I have $20 to spend on more gifts. 4 of the 10 presents I wrapped were INCREDIBLY unsightly, while the other 6 looked like they were wrapped by Santa himself.
Hows about you guys?

I'm okay, though I used to be horrendous. I still have problems with the ends though. :(

i rarely wrap the gifts i buy for friends/relatives, for the record, it's mostly the corners that turn up ugly.
I throw the tape and wrapping paper on the present and hope for the best.
And I'm 23.
Your 16 and not wrapping gifts. I, on the other hand, am 13 and wrapping gifts. Though, the gifts I got were totally lame. :p I suppose tomorrow I will have to go shopping with the $20 I have to get some better ones... Or just go to the $1 section and get 20 $1 gifts.Quote:

I'm pretty good. My Mormor can do it beautifully, so I just watched her for a few years and voila.
Normally I don't wrap them as it means they'll look horribly pathetic, if i'm asked to help then half of it is dodgy while the other half isnt, it's pretty comical
I used to be terrible at wrapping things, but my supervisor at work taught me how to do it properly. I'm only wrapping products with brown paper at the moment, as they're for our customers at work, but I'm sure that the same methods apply to wrapping presents.
I'm terrible. And now that I work in fast food, I am doing burger wraps on boxes. Kinda doesn't work.
I really stink at all wrapping, period. I have clumsy fingers! :D That is why I make my MOTHER do it for me. :hyper:

I'm a pretty good wrapper - until I get frustrated with things that are just impossible to wrap. Then I suck at it.

I can wrap box shape things.
I can at least hide the present.
I'm bad at wrapping presents, but you know what? I prefer people who wrap presents for me badly than having perfectly wrapped presents, because it just seems more personal to me. I like gifts to be personal. :)
Rectangular packages....not bad....the ends are a little puffy, but not bad.
Irregular packages, forget it. I TOTALLY suck at those things.....:|
