That's funny, I could have sworn I made an obnoxious statement in a thread just like this...
to me its the 2nd best FF. FF9 is the best in my opinion but FF8 definetly has the best character personalitys out of any game i have ever seen and has the best love storys on any FF but FF9 is only just better in my opinion.
FFVIII is the best, I think. The first disc is just brilliant.
FFVII is my favourite but you don't know how much FFVIII is to being my favourite game.
I love FFIX. In my opinion, it's the second best game xD

I loved FF8, its my fave. I really liked FF9 too, the end boss fights were so epic. One thing that gets annoying replaying FF8 though is having to draw tons of magic... FF7 didnt do anything for me ( sorry cloud fans ).
I'm just gonna leave it at this. All FF games rock and I'm out! (maybe)
For me VII is the all time final fantasy but VIII still rules, I'm not really into the Junction system, I know how to use it but... for me I like to keep it simple it's too much work otherwise.
Yeah, Final Fantasy VIII is my all-time favorite, but VII rocked the house as well.
