CST meetup (Kansas City)

We had a thread earlier discussing CST about who would be coming and all that, I'm still curious as to who is STILL planning on coming. And! I finally have a date set. So if you know you're coming (or could possibly come), please post in this thread. Also, still up for suggestions, we're not really sure what other activities we'll be doing except for Worlds of Fun.

So here's the information, which I have no desire changing as of now...

Where: Kansas City, Missouri

When: June 9th - 11th (or you can leave earlier) The 9th is a Friday by the way. :p

We'll also be staying a hotel (hopefully one that provides bagels in the morning) and we'll share rooms, so it'll be fairly cheap. As for transportation...do what you've gotta do. I recommend driving or hitching a ride with someone else on the forums. Anyway...discuss. :tongue:

I'm really considering this, but it'd rely on a few factors. Like transportation. And my parents. And whether or not Allie would be able to make it :P

The only way I'll be showing up is if someone who lives close to me (ie foa and eestlinc) decide to go and I catch a ride. I'm not taking a plane for a two day event, and there's no way I'm driving 14 hours. :D

Its like 13 hours for me. And I'm seriously considering it. There's some dudes in Penn. that are supposedly deffinitely going. They offered to give me a ride on the way through. Me and Hsu could hook up and join them.

I have that whole job thing going on.

I plan on going :D

I really wanna go to this, but I might not be able to drive myself. *slacked off on getting his license again*

So I'll probably have to get a ride from someone.

Kansas City...smurf that! I live in Chicago and the hell I am going to drive 3-5 hours(I don't know how long!) and blah blah blah blah blah. I have a job on top of that. My birthday is the 3rd which means my family will probably celebrate it sometime that weekend and forget to tell me.

Last but not least I don't plan this stuff more that a month in advance.

Q-estion for you. What are we going to do when we meet up? Orgy? Shopping at the mall. Foods? Orgy sounds great but I am pretty sure there would be too much jail bait there.

It says what we're doing :p but I'll be nice and tell you again. We're going to Worlds of Fun, which is that amusement park, and other things of which I'm not certain on yet.

I caught that much but that doesn't really consitute the whole weekend...more like...1/4th of the weekend.

Aww, hell. I was hoping this could be in February cause then I can go. Wanna move it up between the 4th and 20 somethign of February? :p

A good explanation as to why not in February would be because a lot of us have school. :p Plus, it's too cold to go to WoF in Feb. ;-;

So the date is final, and what we are doing is final. The things that aren't final are the hotel we are staying at, and how many people are going for sure.

If anyone could sticky this thread it would be helpful. No sense making another thread a few months down the line when we have most of this figured out already.

Don't worry RSL, I'm a bit older than them too. So you won't be that far out of the game :P We all get along, that's all that matters. Anybody in/near Ohio wanna car-pool? :D
