We've recently had to deal with a spam thread in this forum that was sitting around for a couple of days. One of the members who had previously been given a final warning for such activities has now been banned and even more members warned, but what worried me the most is that nobody at all seemed to alert us to the thread.
For this reason, I thought I'd give the members of the X-2 forum a little advice for such situations - use the Report Bad Post feature. :) This little button looks like this:and can be found on every post, either at the top right or bottom left depending on what postbit location you use. When you see a post that you feel is nothing but spam or an insult to another member or anything else that you feel would break the rules, please use this button and let us know what is wrong with the post (or thread that the post is in).
We will be trying hard to keep up with all the forums around here, but sadly some do managed to slip through our nets. Hopefully when they do slip through, you can help us by reporting posts.
