Waste of money...

It's hard to come up with new thread ideas and because i'm pretty new i'm hoping this hasn't been done recently. I was just wondering what your biggest waste of money has been.

Mine's gotta be redecorating my room with new furniture and paint and everything, finishing it with a total cost of about £1800, and realising it was shockingly horrible. Since then i've redecorated again, hoping i've done a better job..:(
Or doing the lottery... it's only a couple of quid, but that for a couple of years adds up into the high hundreds....

Forgot to add that purchasing reems of terrible games (speed freaks included).

Finding a job. I've been spending so much more ever since I've started working that it's scary.

I wonder if throwing money into wishing wells counts....

the money I spent getting into Subverse (all ages Camden club) last year. It was fu for like the first few months, but I really should have stopped going way before I did.

I don't remember what's the odds of winning the lottery but they're so small... i've won about £20 over the years... and that's just lame.

I can't actually think of any large amount of money I've spent that I consider a waste. I can't afford to do that kind of stuff.

Actually, the $160 I donated to a site to get them their vB, because the site never really took off.

It wasn't a waste of money. But I got my DS like.. a few days earlier than everyone else in England but it cost me £60 more. £60 I didn't have.

I don't buy many things. My parents are stingy and I only get £4 spend.

FFX-2, Slaggin off the game in the FFX-2 forum made me feel better about the fact the Square-Enix Ripped me off a WHOLE £40 (now 'im bankrupt). But now it seems I can't do that anymore. :( As I don't live in America I could send them an anonymously sent abusive letter, yes that would help. :)
