For me this Defently would have to be FF VIII. The characters are the most realistic for me. I just think some of the Fight scenes would be great. The opening for VIII with Squall and Seifer was the best in the FF series.

Make FF2 into a movie... we get to see how the main characters have little personality and supporting characters steal all the spotlight.
A prequel to X would be great as a movie imo. Retelling the game would be predictable, and a sequel would have very little to work with, but a prequel, like another summoners pilgrimage, might be fairly decent
i like that idea, i think a prequel with braska's journey with auron and jecht might work well. With it ending how yuna and kimahri met and her meeting wakka and lulu in besaid when her farther brought the calm, and auron forefilling his promise by going to zanarkand to watch over tidus.Quote:

ff7 please. or ff6. :) but in all truth i think the BEST one for an epic is fftactics :)
I think they could mix all the FF's characters and do a blasting movie! could you imagine?? Cloud, Squall, Tidus with their respective lovers... and the bosses Edea Sephiroth =P, Seymour... and much more! or could they make a movie only with the bad guys? Sephiroth rippin out Edea, Seymour, kuja, Ultimecia, at once .. so cool XD ... =P

None, first I'd expect it to be bad (from inductive reasoning based on how bad AC and TSW are). And even if it was good there's not more of the story I want. The only thing I'd be interested in having repeated are the worlds they take place in.

I'd say it'd need to be FFVI as well, they could do alot with it, the actual story, or even a prequel for the War of the Magi or something.
FFVIII wouldn't be bad, but it'd basically have to be the game story.

A movie using the VIII story would be most enjoyable as far as just watching a game story played out in a movie setting. FFTactics would be ok if done right, I fear it'd be too easy to drag it out too long and miss the main point. A prequel to X would be fun as well, showing Braska, Auron, and Jecht on their journey

I would say FFIX. It had a short and simple enough story to be able to fit in a couple of hours, and character interractions were best in the series. That's all you need for the formula of a good movie.
Final Fantasy X...it played like a movie anyways, so I imagine tooling it to movie form wouldn't be too tough.

FFVI, preferably covering the War of the Magi. There's a lot of potential story there, moreso than pretty much any other game in the series with the exception of Tactics perhaps.
