Hooray - we're ready to go. As I said before, this will follow the standard double elimination format shown below - this will let each person play at least twice. I randomized the starting positions of everyone, so no whining. Try to get your first matches done and get the results to me by Saturday. Connect Four is a short game, so this should not take long.

Sometimes, it seems unreal how good these people are.

Well, Connect Four is a solved game, so player 1 can guarantee his or her win.

The loser's bracket just means that if you lose again, you're out. Once you lose, you enter the loser's bracket; that's about it. Oh yeah, the winners of each bracket play again at the finals.

Yeah, Dreddz and I might need a couple of days, as we've had trouble getting on at the same time. I'm not consistently online until after 8 PM or so EST, and then he's off. But we'll get this done.

Yeah, there's time - Bert and RSL have been having the same trouble recently (ed and Squinn, too). I'm moving the next round matches forward though - effectively staggering matches. So don't be surprised if there's a pileup somewhere. :p

Next time you do a Tournament you need to match everyone up based on time zone. CST and GMT is not easy when people have jobs.

That's actually how things were set up initially, but if people from each time zone advance, they're bound to run into each other eventually. Sorry it worked out, but I'm glad you got it done.

Okay, neither MNiS nor Dreddz responded to my ultimatum to have their match done by today, so sadly I will have to drop them and move to the final matches.

rubah must first battle Black Mage 121 for the right to reach the final game. The two dueled in the second round of the tournament with Black Mage 121 coming out the victor. rubah came back, persisting through the tough and gritty losers bracket, defeating Bert, Neel, and Genius Lynx to scramble towards the opportunity to reach the finals. Black Mage 121, meanwhile, has shown incredible dominance thus far in the tournament, losing only recently to the undefeated Squinn. If he can make history repeat itself, he'll find himself facing Squinn again in the final match.

The undefeated Squinn awaits the winner of this match.
The 3rd place title awaits the loser.

Okay, I'm done. Play C4 already.

I think it was held back because of me and MNiS, we had troubles with getting the match done as whenever he was on, I was fast asleep, and Vise Versa. Thats why Im angry I didnt get a Chance at the top spot :(
