Man, Santa Monica Pier is like 15 minutes from my apartment. I'd love to go to this thing (I want a gobbie bag!) but the admission tickets are a little steep ($85 pre-registration, $100 at the door).Quote:

Man, I want to go and I haven't even played Final Fantasy XI in an incredibly long time. $85.00 is a little steep for me if I can't even enjoy the in-game item, though. I would definately go if I still had a Final Fantasy XI account.

Seriously, if I possibly could get away with playing playing Final Fantasy XI again I would take the opportunity in a second. The in-game item being given to those who register for the event is called a Moogle Rod. It's cute. I can't wait to find out what kind of special abilities it allows you to do.

So...the moogle rod is just something to wave around and say "I went to the Fan Festival"? I want it now. $85 is pretty steep, and $100 moreso, but if I can save up the money for the at the door fee, then me and my friends might go. But they payin for themselves -.-

I'd so attend this if I still lived in cali. I need to find my groove back and play ritually again. I just logged a couple of days ago and it seemed like my character was running faster.
I dunno must be speed hacks or something (oh noes!) but uh, rather than hijacking the thread I suggest that somebody cosplay with subligar. You get a million jillion points if you strut your subligar.
