Soul Calibur versions of FF VI characters?

I found formulas for Soul Calibur III Create-A-Character mode to recreate some Final Fantasy VI characters. First up, here's the formula for Cyan, and some terrible, terrible pics of him I took with a webcam. Keep in mind that I DID NOT DESIGN THESE! I am not trying to take credit for these. i made setzer, with the exception of the skull and crossbones the pirate jacket works mostly. i'll get the rest of the parts and colours when... i feel like it.

Opera Celes is my favorite.

Yeah, I like them. Again, though, I DID NOT design these. I did customize a couple a bit.

They're ok, in my opinion.

Mebbe I should try and get ahold of SC3....see if I can concoct my characters....I doubt it though, as they have a fairly modern image.

That is extremely cool. Can you give Edgar a polearm of some sort, like the weapon that Seung Mina (or however you spell her name) uses?

This is in Soul Calibur 3? Does it matter which platform? If not, I'm done playing DOA and getting SC3 for my Xbox.

There is no SC3 for Xbox. Just PS2. You can give Edgar a lance (whick I prefer), or Soul of Seung Mina, but not if you make him a pirate. He's a pirate there because you get Soul of Cervantes and Soul of Ivy, and apparently those are as close as you can get to those wacky tools of his. (It doesn't matter what job he is. He'll still look the same.)

Mog might be difficult, but hey, I've seen Pikachu and Ryo-Ohki characters.

Oh yeah, i forgot that sc3 was only on ps2. SC2 is on all platforms.

But SC2 doesn't have a character creation mode :p. Sux to not have a PS2~

Hey, I bought a PS2 just for this game. Seriously. I'd already borrowed and finished FF X and X-2.

It's a good game, but I really miss a few things from SC2. Xianghua's stage for example, the music there was awesome. I think they could have thrown in all the SC2 stages just as a bonus, they look good enough to not need a remodeling anyway. I also miss a team battle mode, that would have been so easy to implement. Weapon master would have been cool too, but that'd cost them more than the other two things I'd like
The DVD isn't even half-full, so space wasn't the problem :/.

Xianghua's current stage is my favourite from the series, along with it's music. I have the soundtracks for the three Calibur games on my computer, and that song is my fave.

Team battle? Don't even get me started. It's rushed. Team Battle was planned, but then they just didn't put it in. It's in the instruction manual and everything.

That song is good. I like the soundtrack version better though. Hubris, from SC2 is still better though, but the SC3 OST in general has got more good songs than the SC2 soundtrack.

I think I'll make an Edgar based on a combination of the two formulas. He needs that ponytail.

It'd be nice if you could figure out how do characters from other Final Fantasy games.

There are designs for other characters. I've seen Cloud and Sephiroth, for example.

That's just a baseless rumour. It doesn't make any sense, anyway. The Xbox version of SC2 sold very badly. If they were going to make it for another non-arcade system, it would be Game Cube or Revolution. And it's not coming out for Game Cube or Revolution. And this has nothing to do with Final Fantasy VI characters.

There already are a ton of formulas for "guest characters" out there.

Its not baseless. They are, or have considered it. As to whether they decided on it or not I really don't know. But it sounded pretty serious in the little snippet in EGM

It was a rumour in EGM. They never bothered to consider it. That's like thinking of porting it over to the N Gage. Now, there's a topic for this game in Gaming, so any more non-Final Fantasy CAS related talk should go there.

Nightmare on ff7 would be awsome

I'm sorry if someones already posted this, but there's an easy solution to that. Take one of your characters into VS. mode against him/herself (or someone of the same class) and do 50 0% HP 1 battle matches consecutively. I gaurantee you'll have every discipline for that job. And you won't have to break a sweat over it. If you prefer a challenge (or don't have two controllers) there's always getting all your jobs in CotS to 30 or just going through Quick play (many many times) with your custom character.

All the characters you've made are pretty awesome, keep it up. ^^

Yeah, that's a good tip. I've used it with several disciplines so far. The only reason they're not all done is that I'm too lazy :p
