I haven't heard it. Where can it be found?
Don't some people say Gackt was the inspiration for Squall?
I hate that comparison, personally. Maybe cause I hate Gackt and I love Squall.
So yeah, I haven't heard it. :D And I will avoid hearing it until I am forced to listen to it as I play the game.

I only like the song 'Farewell'. The rest of the ones I've heard weren't all that great. ^^() I dunno if squall was based off of Gackt's looks though. He looks like a woman in most pictures I've seen.

Yeah...Gackt does look like a girl in some pics, but others...*smirks* Well other are just hot, then there are scary ones too...He has so many varying looks, it is not even funny...

That's a commercial for the Japanese release of the game which got me very excited, and has the song playing in it. Looks freaking awesome...the FMVs look like Advent Children at a higher framerate.
Anyway, despite whether you "hate" the "comparison" of Squall and Gackt, it's the truth; Squall was indeed modeled after Gackt. It was stated in press releases and Gackt took photos in Squalls outfit and everything.
So? Redemption rocks.

I hope not personally. Gackt sounds horrible when he sings in english. His accent muffles the words. Listen to "To Feel The Fire" and you'll see what I mean. Oddly enough though his speaking accent in english is quite good.Quote:

I love Gackt and Squall but I can't STAND the thought of them ever being compaired! Squall looks white and Rinoa is asian, look at their freakin noses and facial features. Come on! I have mixed feelings about Gackt. I love most of Malice Mizer and Gackt's early work, but around Love Letter or so he just lost the originality that made him so wonderful. Redemption sounds like the worse half of his Mars album mashed up into one sloshy mess. His voice is very pleasant to me, though, and he's definitely one of the most attractive men I've ever seen. How I envy Hyde. :-\
I don't know about the rest of his music, but the song that played during the end credits was total pants, and his voice was comically bad. :monster:
