What names did you give to Squall and Rinoa?

What names did you give to Squall and Rinoa?
Mine were:
Squall: Reeve
Rinoa: Terra

oh if you want to say these you can:
Angelo: Locke
Shiva: Haw
Ifrit: Hellboy
Pandemona: Ewww (seriously)
Eden: Jinn

I'm trying to remember, I believe it was something like 'Squall' and 'Rinoa'...or was it the other way around?

Squall & Angelo.

Squall = Maxx, Rinoa = Celes. And because I'm an utter child I called Shiva "herpies", so that when I used her against Ifrit he bellowed "They have Herpies?!" very loudly at me. I can say without hyperbole that I lol'ed.

I named Rinoa after myself because I was so in love with Squall and I loved the fact that my name appeared on the screen :D Sad I know, but heck.

i called squall jamie for ages and i dunno why. he just looks like one ha ha.

shiva = nymph
ifrit = zechkebab
quezacoytl (not arsed looking up spelling!) = thingy

then i got bored renaming things so i just left everything else as is

The names I gave to Squall and Rinoa were Squall and Rinoa...

i have two files, and i can make more b/c there's all those extra slots to make more:

File 1
Rinoa..."Angie"
Squall..."Toshio"

File 2
Rinoa...Aeris
Squall...Cloud

Rinhoa, all the rest were the same I think.

lol I did that for another game I had saved...:D But for my REAL game, I used: Squall & Rinoa.

I always keep their real names, even if I play through it again. Because I usually replay games for their story, and having crap/funny names would ruin that.

For reazzi sheazy...but if I had to pick a new name, it would be:

Squall = Aldan or Alden
Rinoa = Saya or Violet (Cause those names rocks for girls)!

Squall and Rinoa 8)

Rinoa's always Rinoa cause I love that name, I think it's really pretty but Squall is Rain or Tristan

Angelo: aurora
ifrit: Flame
shiva: flurry
quezecotl: storm
the rest are just goofy inside jokes between me and my sis... like diablos is Muerta, Tonberry is PunchBaby, etc.

PunchBaby, classic....love that, I think I might have to steal it.

Fprgot to mention, I was going through an anime stage and I named the GFs after DBZ characters ... Lord.

I called Squall and Rhiona after my and my bf (I know I know sappy!)
I called my GF's innappropriate names recently, because I always have a theme in nameing and I wanted to see Ifrit say "they have " Heheheh I'm such a child!!!

Squall named Seifer
Rinoa named Squall

ah, the list of inappropriate Shiva names goes on. I have had my fair share

"They have A Prostate!"
"They have No life!"
"They have Sex!" (I am ashamed of this one....)
"They have *insert name of several STDs here*!"
"They have Grey Poupon!"

That is only a few.....

I named Squall "Stanley" and Rinoa "Stella" before. Classic A Streetcar Named Desire scenario.

It is also fun in FF7 to name Aeris inappropriate things so Cloud can yell them (SPOILER)after she gets killed. Like "About time...", "Watch out!", and "STELLA!!!"

I always rename the main character Shin after me if i'm given the choice. I renamed griever slayercat the same as i renamed redxiii in ffvii.

On a side not, i tried playing ffiv a few times and always gave my characters names like prune or gayboy just so i could see random people say "hello gayboy"

I called Squall and Rinoa Squall and Rinoa the first time playing it then I named Squall Cobain and Rinoa Zelda

Squall=Rinoa Rinoa=Squall, Angelo=Ifrit, Shiva=some fun STD of course, Ifrit=Shiva, Quezacotl=Siren, Siren=Doomtrain, Cactuar=Diablos, Diablos=Carbuncle, Carbuncle=Pandemona, Pandemona=Quezacotl, Brothers=The Ambiguously Gay Duo, Tonberry=Eden, Doomtrain=Cactuar, Bahamut=Brothers...and well you get the point.
Have fun with that.

For myself I went with their real names. My older sister on the other hand name Squall - Sabre and Rinoa - Deidre

Or name Rinoa "Chocolate Cheesecake" so Squal will say "I have fallen for you...Chocolate Cheesecake"

I can never think of names on the spot. I also kind of like having the real names. :tongue:

I named Rinoa after myself because everyone knows that Squall is just the greatest ever and he's adorable! I was so in love with him as well as many others were.

And in some games I renamed Squall a named that I loved, or of a very close guy-friend of mine.

I renamed Squall John and I renamed Rinoa Stacy.

I named the three recurring FF summons into the names of the Hindu dieties

Ifrit - Brahma
Shiva - Shiva
Bahamut - Vishnu

I kept the original names, but in a 2nd game - my name on squall and my ex´s on rinoa............. tha saddest part of my life..........

i sometimes call Rinoa 'Lenore', but not always

Well, I started a new game and realized most of my names for Rinoa wouldn't fit so...
Rinoa= Hotdogs

It changes the tone of the entire game. Seriously, try it!
