Lol. Ok well I'm finding that alot of poeple are asking questions that are answrered right in the guide book. I answer all of them, wondering how they could not know the answer. But then i said "they must not have the strategy giude" ... so do you? I have agiude for like every game i own lol.

Yup, I got one. It was escpecially useful with Rikku's Mix. A nice chart with all of the good mixes, though it neglected to say where some of the items can be found.
Yes, I also have a guide. The mixes ARE useful, but if you simply do some research in the book, most of the items you need can easily be obtained in the monster arena. Unless you can't kill anything there yet...

I used it. But it doen't tell you how to get Valefort's best overdrive

I couldn't find the guide when I first got X. They don't sell them anymore.
i have the official guide for 8 10 and 10-2, and a unofficial guide for 7. but any of the guides i don't have i just look on www.gamefaqs.com cos they're just as good, if not better

Hard to find in England? I live in deepest darkest devon and they sell them in my Local GAME. or theres always e-bay or Amazon. I think i've seen them in consol connections and game station too. I have the guide for VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2. I use them all, mainly for maps and key points/fights. The X-2 one was usful seeing as the secrets section was bigger than the walkthrough!
Just go to a used game store for a guide, I went to EB Games last summer after getting X for my fourteenth birthday
i only have the original Final Fantasy VIII (with its critical error), Final Fantasy X-2, and of course...Final Fantasy X. it was only useful when i'm looking up bribery costs.

I have never owned or bought a game guide. I just go online, after i have passed the game once on my own, and can find about all the extra stuff for free.
