Mod? Merith? That was like, so last year.
Nobody is doing it but yourself. Take some responsibility!
I lol when I read this post.
Yeah suck it up!
It was when 'lol' was changed for a while. I can't think of the word.. filtered? :3
I love your sig ;)
I think its people just being stupid. Or protesting. Or both.
Its all the submarines fault.
I personally think we need to go back to the filter.
I agree with Marick.
I know a member who kept doing that...it was bloody annoying.
Make a thread asking the refiltering of "lol" and "O rly", simple as, don't ask random questions make the thread! do it! go on, you know you want to, it's in your blood to make it.
The filter was actually funny and random when it was on but the filter dudes shut it off sadly.
I cried aloud with merith and merithment @ this thread

It stands to be pointed out at this point that a brief google search has demonstrated to me that this is a blatant rip-off of Penny Arcade. But whatever floats your boat.
It stands to be pointed out at this blah blah blah that this is a blatant rip off my post from when ICAWMAM was hip.Quote:

What's the difference between "rip-off," "reference," and "homage"?
That filter is still around.Quote:

Phy obviously had the link the whole time. I cried aloud with merith and merriment! ^^
I thought it was still active... there's a noob running around that likes to "lol" every other word, and now her posts are littered with "I cried aloud"s
It was reactivated for a while because one noob was driving us crazy with the LOLs. Personally I would like to just ban anyone who ever uses it.
Odd, when I preview one of my own posts with the word "lol," it doesn't seem to take effect. Maybe it's only present in the EoFF 2005 style set?
Merith?
Clout?
Is that you crono_logical?
It's lol in the EoFF 2005 as well as the Classic. No filter.Quote:

I might have missed something, but it's possible that this feature is offered only to a chosen few. :cat:
i actually promote ICAWMAM over LOL, lol!!!!onehundredelevenoneone!11ICAWMAM!!!!111
Type a period directly after typing lol for xtreme mirth and merriment!
lol.
Fake edit: oic
for the title of the thread, don't u mean mirth? not merith. anyways, the first i saw this was on Flying Mullet's sig. then i saw ppl starting to actually say it in their posts. i think it is the long way of saying lol.
I don't know why. But I don't really mind seeing it in lowercase. But in caps it seems so obnoxious and juvinile. Such a weird hypocracy inside me
Edit: And Im guessing it has been slapped on certain members..
You don't have to guess. You just have to read.
is this thread still going? lol, i thought the problem was solved.
Yes, it could be closed.
