What?! You're not part of the Unne Avatar Party?

This is the Unne Avatar Party thread, fashionably posted where it all began. The Unne Avatar Party is dedicated to all things Unne-related, for good, for bad, and for common ownage. This year, we've taken a stronger stance on our leanings towards the old-school, as seen by the posting of this in the FFI forum. Support of the following things are party-approved and sanctioned:
Ubuntu (alternatively, Linux in general)
The UYFB rule
Intelligent discussion
Final Fantasy I (the original moreso, because the remake is easier and thus less elitist)
Mozilla Firefox
Proper grammar and spelling
Unne-themed parties, dress, desktops, kitchen sets, and avatars.

We can add to it, but you better have a good point/argument as to why.

The best sign of support is having an Unne avatar, so you should have one! We have a handy assortment of Unne avas on hand (linked right [here], [here], and [here]), so feel free to browse and choose one. Of course, having avatars of Unne is something we all love to do, but I won't kill you if you do not have an Unne ava. I understand that sometimes we have to control our Unne-ness.

I'd also love to suggest an awesome Unne signature, but as Dr Unne cannot see your signature, that's more than silly.

Unne uses Ubuntu Linux. In particular KDE (although I'm not sure if his original install used Kubuntu or if he installed the KDE packages afterwards).

He probably still recommends Gentoo, though.

At this point I believe the Hot Air Balloons are Actually pretty Neat Party has the best family values, as Giggles demonstated earlier, So don't believe Marik. Though I am not part of the Unne Party, we should make sure it isn't irraticated, for Unne's avatar is still pretty cool.

That's all nonsense; what does it matter to those who do not have sigs? Thinking about it, our banner is used much like how war is used to bring peace; the people in favor of signatures (and thus view them), see our banner and can take heed if they so desire. It's a win-win situation! :|

The UAP took one of our members. They're scurveous dogs and shall be smited good.

The UAP is vastly superior to every other party and therefore more deserving of whoever it is that we stole.

Consider yourselves added, Doc and OdaiseGaelach, to the rolls of the Unne Avatar Party.

I am sorry to hear that many of you feel that it's too late to join the UAP, despite the deadline being over a week away and knowing that it is a party that befits you more properly. It should be noted that we have stolen no one; UA member BtV was simply antsy about the whole party thing and couldn't wait until I made the thread for us.

About all this signature-griping business: what say you, Avatars? Shall we do away with them? A banner is a banner, but it really does not need to be shown anywhere but Headquarters (here) and at the Election Booth. It really does not concern me, because if we win, all signatures can be and will be abolished. It's an Unne thing.

From the feedback I have recieved on the Unne Avatar Party, everyone wishes to join, but haven't the courage that Kyono has shown in embracing his beliefs properly.

Announcement: As much as I am an undying fan of Unne, it is apparent that (t)his party is through. We haven't enough members to regsiter for elections proper, nor does it look like we shall. So, in order to give enough time to those members who want participate in the elections, I'm closing this now and you guys can find a party that won't die due to lack of membership.
