Looks like a beach to me. It's not like Besaid is candyland with foo-foo bunny clouds. It's an island. There are thousands of those.

Yes, Besaid it looks alike.
The only resemblence it bears to Besaid is the jetty (I think that's what those're called), and tons of beaches have those.
