Retro Party - "Because retro games rock harder than anything!"

Are you still not in a party yet? Or would you rather be in a better one than your current one? Well, either way, retro gamers unite: the ultimate party is here, and you can join! All I basically ask of you is that you enjoy retro games of some kind, whether it's really old arcade games, or even games for the Nintendo 64 (yes, it counts as retro).

Currently, it seems a bit biased towards Nintendo games, but everyone will be able to have their own retro sig/avatar, and I'll even create them for you if you can't (if you're a member)! So...

- Party Mascot: Currently, it's Mr. Game and Watch. Certainly an ideal mascot. Here's an image of the guy from Super Smash Bros. Melee, where he was a character.

If you join, well, here are the positions... There can be three members for each, and here's the info, as quoted by the topic:

Final Fantasy: The Second Generation. Includes ff7 - ff12 and all those sequels and stuff. Graphics whores will fit in best here. Again, it will help if your three candidates are familiar with the games.

The World is Square...and Enix. All the rest in here. Tactics, Chrono, KH, etc. Einhänder, Rad Racer, Bushido Blade. The list goes on.

Surely in a day, I'll have found some people who find retro gaming more important than red...pirate mages. :) Or hot air balloons! Hey, even better sigs will be on the way. It's just not as easy because the only time I ever get on the Internet is at college.

but I can't becuase

The fact that this is in the FFV forum has nothing to do with me. And maybe you should read the post above... Maybe if people's egos weren't supersized here, I'd care to continue running this party. But it's not even worth it.

How exactly will the Retro Party go about representing the non-retro Final Fantasy: Second Generation forums of EoFF? By being retro, you're not catering to the needs of all the members and that's just wrong. WRONG.

On the other hand, the Fluffy Pink Party cares for everyone. Why? We're pink, fluffy and very good in bed.

This is the Internet. People always act bigger on the net than in real life. So everyone has huge egos? So what? I mean, Psys ego defies the laws of physics by expanding faster than the universe. I personally take personal attacks as a declaration of war. So?

The second generation of Final Fantasy games still use many elements from the old Final Fantasy games. The primary focus of this party (Final Fantasy-wise) is the first generation, and the secondary focus is the second generation. And by the way, you could count Final Fantasy VII - and possibly VIII - as retro now. So, tell me, how does the colour pink and Final Fantasy link?

There is only a matter of days left. I'm not going to cry about this party dying, as it already was almost closed once (as if it ever took off), but if I don't get a significant amount of members in the party within the next day or two, I might as well. I guess I should have entered my party earlier, as there'd be more members available. I practically shot myself in the foot by doing this. :p

Anyway, like I said, I'm not too bothered if nothing happens with it. I just opened a gateway of opportunity. It's up to you guys to decide whether to walk through it or not. But, as the majority of Final Fantasy fans were probably introduced to gaming THROUGH Final Fantasy, in the second generation, most probably don't know of retro games. Yeah, in the foot. ;)

Next time, next time. I might even join, if the PRM party doesnt sail.
