and I want some.
I saw the japanese commercials and they all looked yummy and deliscious and the ads were unique and random and funny :D
would I find any at my local asian grocery store?

What the hell are you talking about :mad2:
Pocky is fairly common outside of Japan. If you cant find Pocky, pick up Yan Yan. I actually prefer Yan Yan cause you get to dip it yourself.
For those of you who dont know, Pocky/Yan Yan are Japanese snacks of sesame seed sticks dipped into flavored creme (chocolate, banana, strawberry, vanilla).
They used to sell these mushroom shaped chocolate cookies at my local Anime Club store, but they stopped and it makes me cry.
I've been told by a good source that I should try it.
Sam Goody.
Pockys good but I dont heart it.
Tried it, was indifferent.
whatever these ads advertise ^_^
Pocky ^_^
More Pocky ^_^_^_^_^
Mooooooooooooooooore Pocky
Pocky is in our grocery stores. I don't eat it though. :cat:
I like the Almond Chocolate Pocky. I grew up eating them.
they look real tasty.
I wanna try the chocolate mouse (spelling?) Pocky
What about Rocky? :(
Or bullwinkle?Quote:

I dunno, I'm not into pastry-ish/bread type snacks like that so I can't imagine it'd taste good to me, but does everyone love it JUST because it's from Japan? Or does it actually taste good?
It tastes really good. Like Palindroma, I grew up eating them.
I have no idea what you speak of! :p
I like it, but then I liked it before I even knew it was the Pocky that all these japanafreaks talked about, so I just go on taste rather than "ZOMG IZ AZN!".
those are cute :tongue:Quote:

It's not a "pastry" type snack at all.Quote:

Oooooh, okay, that doesn't sound too bad. :D I was thinking it was a chocolate covered Italian Seseme Stick, which is hard and gross and ewww. The things to the right:

I like chocolate covered things. :)
Pocky is ew. It is the only thing I can think of from the Orient I severely dislike eating.
And I've eaten squid.
For some reason they remind me of those horrid Wafer things that stores sell around here, which make me sick to even think about.
It's just a Pocky rip-off! xDQuote:

They had some at Hastings in Conway. I have not seen any at the Hastings in Russellville.
I split some delicious chocolate between my best friend and my math teacher and his wife.
I'd like to try milk flavored sometime.
!delicious!
I brought strawberry and chocolate.
yum yum ^_^
Yummers. I <3 Yan Yan/Pocky. It was my favourite childhood snack.
I could go for some right now. :p
I wanna try Peppero Pocky next ^_^
Originally, it's from the Philippines. But yeah, they're fairly common and they taste good.Quote:

They sell Pocky in the grocery stores here, but usually only chocolate or strawberry. I like cheesecake.
Not even soft pretzels? 'Cause that's a good indication that you're going to burn in Hell.Quote:

Lol!!! "anata mo watashi mo pokki!" :D
that'll be in my head all night...
:choc2: :eep:
Just go to your local manga store or Media Play. That's where I stock up on pocky.
Wow, even our local 99 cent stores have Yan Yan. I cant imagine not being able to find it.
I have Yan Yan aswell ^_^
but I wish I had some more Vannilla and Mango Pocky.
OH smurf I LOVE THOSE. Suncoast has them here.Quote:

I am a big fan of it, its like pocky covered with lots of Chocolate.... well, lots for a pretzal.
Glico is clearly the best company ever.
Yan Yan is more common than Pocky around here. Both are kinda overrated in my opionion. Pocky doesn't satisfy my chocolate needs, and Yan Yan runs out of the chocolates before the biscuits.
The only place I've seen Pocky in England was in ChinaTown in London. Mind you, I've never looked.
When I was in Hong Kong, me and my boyfriend used to go to Park N'Shop and buy lots of Pocky and eat them all the time and it was yay. Strawberry is kinda sickly, but I just can't stop eating them. Mmmmmmm :D, Before you know it, the whole packets gone.
And, in conclusion: Pocky = good.
Excuse me...but what on earth is "pocky?"
~Setzer Gabianni
Coconut Pocky is lifeforce.
There's a chance that big new mall in Birmingham has such things; their food area has tons of stuff from other places, as I hear it.Quote:

I had no idea that there was different types of pretzels. They aren't as much of a big thing here in England as they are over there. I guess I'm going to hell!Quote:

In that case, not even Wetzel's Pretzels! Because I've never tried them. :)Quote:

It's pretty good. As good as frosted bread sticks/pretzels should be.
I think, for the most part, it is sought after stateside because little fanlings think it makes them more hardcore Japanophiles. u_u The droning anime clique back in high school would tear eachother's hair out over a few sticks, shouting out random bits of broken Japanese that they heard in some scene involving Pocky. Meh.
I've seen some at my local, but not-so-local, Suncoast.
I only like the chocolate ones, but I usually only get pocky before christmas for my cousins to eat. They seem to really like them. I can't really stand any other kinds, it has to have chocolate.
I love Pocky! If I had the money I'd be a total addict. "Hi, I'm Mimiru, and I am a Pocky addict." Multiple boxes a day!
there seem to taste yummier when Frozen.
