Battle of the Britneys

Well we've had the "post your voice" threads and the "post you singing" threads and all that jazz, but this is the real thing, guys. This is the kind of thread that gets results! And they tend to be really, really bad! But some of them are considered really amusing, too, so after people have occasionally bugged me about doing one again for probably over a year now, I decided now is as good a time as any.

So post files of yourself singing songs by Britney Spears songs. Try to do at least 60 seconds of a song. Previous entries include...

Yes, in this, it has to be Britney. The any-old-artist threads are done all the time though, so don't worry, if you want to sing someone else's stuff you'll get your chance. I think it would be more fun for girls to have to sing guy-songs too, so maybe we'll see a Battle of the Backstreet Boys later on.

I was giving it my all, man. I was giving it my all. I would have sung it louder but I am on the other side of a wall of another flat's bedroom and I don't want to do that at 11pm at night like that. Maybe midday tomorrow if I'm hyper enough. But that's about as good as you get with me singing. =x

EDIT: What program did you use to record it BoB? I only have the basic sound recorder that my computer somes with, and that only gives me a minute or something.

BoB, you should've done this a year ago like I was begging! Now I don't have a working mic. Someone else will have to carry on the great tradition.

I never knew i could record on it though. I will record mine now (possibly. I may wait for my mum to leave for work, for obvious reasons ;))

I have somthing close to this already prepared that me and a friend did one hyper night. It's not quite singing, but I think it will fall in here well. I'll upload it in a day or two when I have the chance :)

I just quickly hit record again after the 60 seconds ended on Sound Recorder. If you hit record after 60 seconds, it carries on recording. Make sure you catch it fast, though. I then used a WAV to MP3 encoder.

EDIT: Come on, people. You're all talk, no sing!

Im currently recording "Boys from the county Hell", and as soon as I finish, I will try and put it here. A few...odd lines though.

Jess - I chose Britney because she's incredibly well known and because most people at EoFF don't like her music. So that way if you do it good, then that's good obviously, but if you do it bad then that's amusing. 8-) Stop worrying! We're just a bunch of people off the internet, and this is all about having fun, not an actual singing contest. I don't think there was any real individual winner last time, it was more about the fun of it all.

EDIT: I just found out that a good place to host things for free is Yahoo Groups. If you have a Yahoo address, you can just make a group, set it up however you want (mine is basically just for hosting), and upload up to 20 MB of files.
