This topic is for those of us who are sad, lonely, bitter and/or twisted on Valentines day, the day when every self-righteous smug couple shoves their love in the face of the lonesome and downtrodden everywhere. Doesn't it just make you sick in a fundamental way?
Come and rant my fellow pessimists. Rant with the little spark of life you still have left in you.
Whoa, you hate Valentine's day?! You've got to be the first person in history, possibly even geography, to do that!

Where I live, most couples don't really bother with Valentine's day. It is the singletons that celebrate it, by sending random people they find attractive, cards, and/or gifts. I thought it was like that everywhere?
Its an eye opener, seeing so many couples around you, I felt quite lonely :(

The only time Valentine's Day makes me mad is when I do get things from a someone who's crushing on me. I remember once this guy was going to buy me flowers and I told him if he did that I'd punch him in the face. Of course I'd never really punch him in the face, but I just don't really want stuff from someone I wouldn't have feelings for. I mean, yeah, it's okay if I get stuff from my boy toy, but other than that, no.
Valentine's Day is the stupidest holiday...well, maybe Labor Day is worse... anyways I'm sick of all the red and pink ...enough already... I think this holiday should be abolished because it discriminates against non-couples.. and makes some people feel bad... and like losers :cry:

Hahaha! I laugh at all of you lonely people whining about Valentines day! Nah, just kidding, you're all still cool. I myself enjoyed the day quite a bit. Got a chance to dote on my girl, she cried when she got the roses and all that good stuff, it was sweet. Funny thing is, a year ago I woulda been bitchin with the rest of you, which leads me to the assumption that Valentines Day only sucks if you're single, so quit yer bitchin and go get laid. Peace!
