Who likes the anime One Piece?

I'm not talking about english version on Toonami/Foxbox.:mad2:
4Kids destroyed that.

Does anyone watch the Japanese fansubs that Kaizoku put out quite often?

If so who/what is your favourite character and story arc.

My favourite character is Luffy, although I think Portgas D. Ace is cool too.:D
My fave story arc is the "Arlong" arc.

probably Zolo/Zoro, he is one hell of a badass, he cuts himself as a handicap and still wins! who can use 3 swords like he does? He's insane!

Its a pretty cool show. I haven't seen many episodes but what I saw I really enjoyed. Zolo is the coolest. I also like that dude with the long, skinny nose, I find him pretty funny.

Is it out on DVD? Because I am interested in buying the first season box set if possible...

I'd probably try watching it if I could actually stand the way the characters look, especially the main character (Lufie?). Sadly I can't. Oh well.

It's not the way the characters look that bothers me, it's the DUB voices.

Someone told me about it long before it was dubbed and I couldn't bear watching it then. My brother watches it on Cartoon Network every once and awhile and I every other line is a lame dialogue jem. x)

But the American Sailor Moon dub won't ever be beaten in that department.

I haven't watched these Japanese fansubs yet, (If anyone could point these out to me that would be awesome ;)) but I have read, and happen to love the manga. My favorite character would have to be Sanji, 'cause his eyebrows are absolute awesomeness. (I get a laugh out of his flirting every now and then, too. xD)

I watched like three minutes of the American dub, and it made me sad to no possible description. :(

I havent seen the Japanese version and I hate the 4kids version...
BUT I READ THE MANGA AND LOVE IT!!!

The Cartoon Network version is decent, I like it. But then again, I'm only a really casual anime watcher so the dubbing doesn't bother me. I dislike some of the voices, but I love Luffay's (sp?) voice, it's cute.

I was watching that earlier. It's actually pretty good. Not that great, but very funny.
I watch the English version (pardon me for being English), and I don't see how their could be a major difference between it and the other. It's still bloody weird.

I don't who's the best, though. Zolo should be pretty cool (pirate samurai!). They all have their... moments.
Except nami, she sucks.

It's the censorship and various changes to the plot. In particular Zoro's past. The english version is missing around 35% or the original show.

It's the craziest anime I have ever seen. :laugh:
