I can think of a point in just about every FF where somebody dances, and I'm probably missing some parts where they do. So which game had the best moves and grooves?

The opening FMV with "Yuna" dancing as a songstress to Real Emotion that I saw in the Japanese trailers was all it took for me to get excited for FFX-2, which is what I'd be voting for if it was an option.
The FFVIII Ball Scene was so good Square decided to use it again as a tech demo for the PS2. You can't argue with that.
So then the fight scenes were "So good" in FFVI and the opening was "So good" from FFVII that they did the same?Quote:

Oh come on! The ballroom scene from FFVIII is amazing!
I hadn't thought of the FF9 riverdance part! Good call, Kawaii!
Aeris and Cloud in the Play in the Gold Saucer, Great !
FF1 had dancing?
Sure it did they did a little jig every time they won a battle :D
Arlyon the dancer in Corneria!Quote:

i believe the dancing when that little moving device was taking Edea round the streets of Deling in FF8 was some pretty funky stuff!
You forgot the whole epic which Celes starred in.Quote:

FF7 in the gold saucer was amazing, more stuff I had forgotten! Square sure likes dancing.
Final Fantasy VIII had two of the best dances:
1. Rinoa and Squall goes "waltzing for the moon"
2. the parade on the streets of Galbadia
You've gotta dig that ballroom scene. Best dancin I've seen in any FF. Pretty romantic too.
The ballroom scene was hilarious, especially when they kept bumping into people. It made me cry aloud with mirth and merriment because it was so funny. The parade was freaky and awesome. So that makes 2 good dance scenes for FFVIII.
Everybody is forgetting Irvine's crazy little dance he's doing when Selphie is taping him during the credits of FF8.
Cait Sith's little number was groovy
Celes dance in FF6 was great stuff. As was Rinoa in part 8.
However, the best has got to be FF5.
You can actually go on stage and be a male stripper and get paid 100 gil for it! No wonder his name is Butz!
How can you beat that?
Or you can get lap dancers for free in like the first town!Quote:

You people obviously haven't had the joy of watching a Taru Taru do the hokey pokey. Now that is what it's all about.
when we had to pick the instruments for the FH concert in VIII i gave Quistis tap, it was quite amusing to see her dance
but i like good ole mog the best
I liked the Dancer class from Final Fantasy V. I was surprised when I realized that my entire party, male and female, could become Dancers!

FFIV...who knew a girl dancer could become a guy just like that?
that wouldn't be dancing, that would be weird.
Yuna and her minions in the FFX-2 intro weren't bad either. :)
Yeah, what about 10-2? (I know it was bad, but the dancing was great)
