is it SEH-les or Suh-LES??
I say it like "Seh-Lees", but that's how I pronounce it. I'm not sure how it's supposed to be pronounced...:cat:
"Sell-us".
I always go for Sea-less.
sell-ease.
I use Seh-lees
se-les.
Se-Lees
mmmm how about adrian paul in armour?
Celeste without the te.
Same. "suh-LESS"Quote:

Or, the best way ever.
seh-lezz
Cell-ease.
sellies
Katakana say "Serisu", but I don't know how to spell it fonetically in English.
I dont play ff 6 but hey ill give it a try hmmm let me i think ill go with Sel-us thats what it looks like ne ways
SE-LES
SELL-ess
Did you know that Celes spelled backward with a t at the endmakes the word 'select'? I noticed that when I was reading my FFVI strat guide upside down (I was bored as usual.)
Serisu -> Seris-> Selis-> Seh Lees. Ta Da! So I guess I was right :cat:Quote:

Or not. Who knows. But like I read in FF Conpendium's name origins, if you combine Celes and Tina's names, it makes "Celestina", which I thought was pretty interesting :choc2:
When I was little I said it Sell-Ease
But now, after knowing someone with the name Seles, I pronounce it Suh-less
At first, we said "SELL-eez", but now, I say "sel-ESS". I believe that's how it's said. I think it may be a variation on the european female name "Celeste" (pronounced "SELL-est")

AIM = cutcutxxjk.
Seals
I used to say se LESS, but I can read katakana since the last time I played the game and found out the Japanese is serisu. So, I say se LEASE.
I always say 'Sah-less' because the actuall name 'Celeste' is prounced like that except with the 't' sound at the end, and since the only difference between the two is the 'te' at the end of 'Celeste' I say 'Celes' as Sah-Less.
<3.
I used to have two ways of saying her name:
Say-Less
or Kay-Less
:choc2: :choc2: :choc2:
i say it like ce-les
Say it like you would the beginning of the words celestial. Her name is to heaven, while Terra's is to earth.
I pronounce it Sah-less. Why not someone ask square?
Sell - ez
when i played, i would always call her "sell-ez" as well. "sells" was kinda weird, xD.
See-Lees
See-Lees. Yep, thats how I say it.
Seh-less.
I've always pronounced it Sell - Ease
Seh-less. Like "celestial". Duh.
"Cell-es" for me
Cel-es
"Sue-less" ftw! :D
Nah, but since I'm from Sweden, I go with some typical Swedish pronounciation: "ze-les".
I just say it CHE-lays (like the beginning of cello and...lays.)
