What´s your favourite part of FFVII?

Come on, show the world your love for FFVII and tell us your favourite part ( u can´t say you love the entire game, because that´s not a part!!)

I have a lot of favourite parts:
*The opening part (the 1st reactor)
*The meeting at the 7th Heaven, after they blow the reactor
*The Don Corneo part
*The Temple of the Ancients
*...
*And for last, the last Battle, when Cloud goes one-on-one with Sephiroth and kills him with Omnislash!! (which is awesome!!!!!!!!)

*The Flash Back of when Sephy went evil
*When Aeris Dies (i'm not saying i enjoyed it it was a good part though it really got me into the game)
*Don's Mansion thing was hilarious

During Aeris's death scene and they start playing that music and they show the little ball of holy (that was what she was holding wasn't it) bouncing off the blocks and falling into the water.


That very scene right there when they show holy falling into the water has got to be the most moving moment in video game history.

My favourate movie parts were:
Aeris's death (Aalso I didnt enjoy it, just a good part of the game)
When Weapon attacks Junon
When the other Wepon attacks Midgar

My favourate game parts were:
The first time in the shin'ra HQ on disk one
Just outside Midgar all the way up to Junon on disk one
When you go back to Midgar on disk two.

there are a lot of good parts but the part near the end of disk one when sephiroth stabs aeris the conversation between sepho and cloud is realy cool. there are a lot of good moments and the bit at the north crater in disk two where you find out more about cloud and the lifestream scene with cloud and tifa.

yeah i forgot that part! i also like the part in the lifestream with tifa and cloud

my favourite scenes were:

*Escaping Midgar on Motorbike
*Wall Market and Don Corneo - If he chooses Cloud
*Aeris's Death
*Cosmo Canyon - When Nanaki finds out Seto is his father
*Gold Saucer - When you find out Cait Sith is a spy
*Killing Sephiroth at the very end

Definitely when the Weapons are unleashed and Sephy summons Meteor. Aerith getting shishkebobbed was pretty emotional as well. And who can forget the ending? :cat:

I played the game several times and cloud was never chosen to be don corneo´s date! What happens??

don corneo chooses cloud when cloud is extremely girleeeee!!!coolness galore...

my favorite part is when cloud sends everyone home before the battle with sephy.the reasoning is really that of a leader,IMO.

i have other favorite parts as well,especially those that involve tifa and cloud together.anyone remember this?

I forgot about the Sector 7 plate. That was another emotional scene.

From Start to Fnish, when your in Midgar at the beginning, its just the greatest hour or two or gaming. Best part in FFVII, and best part in any game for that matter. If I was to pin point an exact moment, when Cloud awakes in Aeris flower bed and they are chased up onto the roof top of the church. When they are walking across the mounted rubbish, the music is just great, the back ground is outstanding ( the gigantic Pizza plate )
Gives me goose pimples just thinking about it.

And the first time you go to the northern crater
Oh and that date thing at the gold saucer, i like it better if you go on it with aerith.

I have finished FF7 5 times i thought id seen everything, apparently not, what do you have to select for Clouds dress to catch the Dons eye?.

My favourite parts are:

1. The very beguining
2. The flash back to Nibleheim
3. All the Don Corneo parts.
4. Areis death
5. Weapon at Junon
6. Weapon at Midgar
7. The part were Cloud discovers hes a clone, when weapon is unleashed
8. The sunken Shinra plane, simply the best place to get to level 99
9. The Yuffie chase at Wutai, took me ages the first time!!!
10. Sephiroths death, Great final cut scene.

emerald and the music

1. The welcoming cermony for Rufus
2. The Yuffie Sidequest
3. When they go to the Forgotten Capital
4. When Reno is talking about which party member is hotter
5. When the true nature of Seto is revealed to Nanaki
6. When Cloud is in the lifestream with Tifa
7. The Nibelhaim flashback
8. When you chase Cait around in the gold saucer
9. When Tifa and Scarlett fight each other on the cannon
10. When Sephiroth is trying to convince Cloud he is a clone in the Crater
11. When the cell doors open in the Shin-Ra building and you find everyone is killed

1) Don Coreno part
2) Aeris' death (didn't enjoy it...it was just a good emotional scene)
3) Tifa & Cloud in the Lifestream
4) Tifa & Cloud before they go off to the Final Battle
5) When you're in the Shin-Ra building and there's all the blood staining the floor...that part was freaky (especially with the music..)

Lets see my fave Parts were
~The motorcycle chase, Clouds flashback in Kalm,the Aeris burial (very sad), and of course Sephys bad exit through flames!!!http://www.fftribute.freewebspace.com/images/ffgirl.gif

i enjoyed the emotional taerjerking bits, like aeris' death and wen nanaki meets seto :'(
also enjoyed the neibelheim sequences in the past

1) getting Yuffie to join the party without a guide.
2) chasing Yuffie for endless hours.
3) the Crazy Motorcycle Chase cut-scene.

*All the begining,until you exit Midgar
*Scene with the turks at the coal mine
*The Rufus welcoming ceremony
*The cargo ship
*Costa Del Sol
*When you got Cait Sith at the Gold Saucer
*gongaga
*The part with Nanaki and Seto at the Gi cave
*When you got Vincent in nibelheim
*Vincent flashback with Lucrecia in the waterfall
*Cloud flashback about Zack and him
*Cid flashback about his 'broken dream'
*The escape with the Tiny bronco
*Wutai when you go the first time and wutai in general
*Date at the gold saucer
*When Cait Sith give the keystone to Tseng and the little scene after
*All the temple of the ancient part
*Bone village until the end of the first disc

*Elena missed punch
*Snowboard!
(I hate the whole glacier part)
*The weapons wake up
*The Junon part after
*Cloud and Tifa in the lifestream
*When you got the north corel huge materia
*When you go in the space
*When you go back to the forgotten capital with bugenhagen
*When you go back to Midgar and kill Hojo:p
*When Cloud say everybody to go home and find a reason to fight
*The night scene with Tifa
*When everyone come back
*The end

Ok,I think it's all....(go start a new game to see if she forgot something)

WHEN AERIS DIES, I LOVE THAT PART:D

While I have enjoyed many of the scenes already mentioned, my favorite part is actually a very small moment. Cloud teaches his victory pose to three Shinra soldiers. Later on, if you capture the submarine and spare the crew, they spin their weapons over their heads. It's the same guys! :)

The one on one duel with Cloud and Sephiroth at the end of the game

Deaths Child: Cool it with the caps/bold/large font and try not to be a jerk with your posting.

I like it when u are chasing Ultima Weapon around with the Highwind. That part is fun.

My REAL favourite part is when Cloud and Barret date.

When Cloud tell's the story of how Sephiroth went mad in Kalm.

my favorite parts were #1 Finally getting to ride my gold chocobo to
get Knights of the Round Summon

#2 Watching Emerald weapons ass
dissenigrate after you finally kill the
bastard.

#3 finally reaching level 100 on all my
charactors( without any cheating) after
maxing the game clock out at 99:99

Anyway, infiltrating the Shinra Tower, handing Ultima WEAPON his ass, going through the Ancient's City, the Temple of the Ancients, Any mandatory part involing a WEAPON, the northern crater (before and after finding Sephiroth), and re-entering Midgar by parachute, and most all of the Boss Battles. Specially the Carry Armor, even if it was a bitch to take down. Y'know, all those parts that get the adrenaline running.

Watching Sephy's battles in Cloud's past,watching Sephy's evil glare and slashing scenes in nibelheim,watching Cloud cut Sephy in half,watching Sephy's descending scene in the Forgetten Capital(before he kills Aeris),killing Sephy with Omnislash(evil laugh),HANDING EVERY SINGLE WEAPON THEIR GODDAM ARSES.

Amm..... Oh!

1) Tseng slapping Aeris at the sector 7 pillar! :D (classic)

2) Getting Vincent.

3) Killing Hojo...

4) Watching Aeris die. (I didn't like how she was so airheaded...)

The first three hours just generally rule.. the music is so nostalgic baby! Cloud's 'past', getting vincent was awesome, hearing cid's theme for the first time :cool: , returning to Midgar..

Mine has to be when the weapons wake up.

I like Wall Market Cloud and the Aeris death scene, I cried.

I agree with Kyros and Shadow_Turk_Athamay 100% :) i love the part when Tifa and Scarlet slap each other in Junon and when Tifa and Cloud are with each other outside of the highwind when they were waiting to see if anyone came back

By the way...how the **** can you hate Aeris? She was the whole plot of the game...
