Would you rather die in the blood boiling heat or in the bone chilling cold?
The universal question: Which of the 2 elements would you prefer to die in; heat or cold.
In other words...
1) Would you rather be inside of a very hot place and have your skin and face and body melt on the spot
or
2) Would you rather be caught in a storm that is so cold and freeze to death with everything getting numb and blue.
Cold...I like the ice. Plus, leaves something to bury.
I'd choose cold too as I wouldn't want to melt.
Melting sounds fun. Wonder what it feels like?

Probably hot. Well I live in the most windy, cold, wet corner of a windy, cold, wet country and it is bloody cold. So that aint fun.
definately freeze to death. After your blood started getting too cold your heart would stop, youd be mostly numb anyway but slightly in pain. The very less painful way to go...burning on the other hand would be quite painful...think steam burn pain times 100 plus watching your skin melt off?? count me out
Frozen, my beautifulness needs to be preserved but really neither because both ways require me losing my ass!

The cold.....
If I had no other option, I'd go with freezing to death, because people would know what I looked like if I was ever found, and sounds less painful.

I'd rather die in the cold. Although I hate cold weather (ironic I live in London) but there is a damn good reason. Physically if you die through the cold your body shuts down slowly, you just fall asleep and never wake up not a bad way to go even if it does leave you a human popsicle. If you burn or boil to death its generally painful. Infact a lesser known thing is that the Feudalistic Japanese used to use Boiling a person to death as psychological torture, A prisoner would be dragged from his cell (usually a communal cell with the others captured too) and placed in a large cauldron of water (cold at this stage) and then interrogated if he failed to talk a fire would be lit and built up. Usually by the time the water got to about 40 celcius the pain set in (most hot baths are about 35 - 40 degrees) a slight stinging sensation like getting in a too hot bath. However the Japanese were masters they would boil the poor sod for over 8 hours (or all night) apparently the screams of the dying man were often unbearable and if he broke or his fellow prisoners broke then he was killed swiftly with a sword.
I choose the cold. Of course, I wouldn't really like either one to be the cause of my death. :p

Cold. You can get yourself warm while you're cold, but it's not so easy getting cool when you're hot. So living just that little bit longer might be fun.

Cold. Boiling is like the worst death ever! Besides, the cold will numb you so you won't feel much pain after a certain point.

Yea, melting's not cool. I've melted before and I highly unrecomend it. I haven't frozen before though. =/ perhapes taht should be on my list of 'Things to do Before I Die'.

Well, you experience one of the two choices for yourself...then answer the question. :)
I'd prefer the cold over the heat.
When it gets to temperatures that you melt at, your brain starts boiling and all your cells die of heat. This tends to make you fry, but it keeps you alive until you are finally brain dead, feeling every agonizing moment until you no longer exist, physically, or mentally. Fun, no?
If you freeze to death, at least you fall asleep, making you feel nothing, except peace and quiet (very rare commodities in this day and age). Plus, you leave a corpse, which is ALWAYS good.

Being melt sounds horrfic and I wouldnt want to ever feel that! Im terrifed of fire, hence the reason I want to be buried when I pass away! I say cold, as Quartermaster Lost Number said, you leave something to bury.
But all the legendary heros of the times have all been burned.

But the important fact there is, they still died.

It actually hurts less if you die of cold, because you fall asleep.

Anyone would be stupid to pick the heat. Your skin and flesh would slowly peel off as the temperature would rise. ;x Doesn't sound good. Ugh, I could go into more graphic detail than that, but I'd rather not.
As for freezing to death, your heart would slowly come to a stop. I can imagine it would be a very prickly feeling, generally, but no way near as painful as melting. Ouch.

I prefer hot weather, but if I had to die in one of the two it would be in the cold. :)
I'll go with the cold.
I would rather swallow some nails dipped in hot lava filled and cooked in a pan full of Dane Cook's saliva while stepping on sharp knives aligned together in a heart shaped formation. Actually, I'll say neither. I hate the cold anyway, but burning to death doesn't sound as fun as a plate full of nails.
