I think this is a bit of a silly question; most of us don't live near the coast and therefore haven't had many chances to surf, but lots of us go bowling occasionally. :p

Well, I've pelted surfers with bowling balls, if that's what you mean... This was back in the early 90's, when surfing was still cool.

Surfing is quite possibly the greatest sport/recreational activity ever. It's incredibly exhilarating.
