Well, it seems a certain individual has made a confession about his (or her) true age, and I have one thing to say about that.

I don't want to be twenty. :( Fortunately no one thinks I look old enough to be nineteen, so I can get away with lying. I was ID checked to make sure I was at least twelve last week. So when I turn twenty, I'm going to reveal that I have infact only turned thirteen. I lie about my age all the time.
I've never lied about my age unless it was for something like getting into the cinema for a 18 rating whereas I'm only 16 and the same goes for when I'm in a pub and so on. Other than that I've never felt the need to lie about my age for any reason. :bigsmile:

Nope! Not that I remember anyway. My parents have lied about my age to get me into motorcycle races as a child, though.

When I was 12 and signing up to places, I used to say I was 19, because 12 year olds are generally believed to be twats. AND ITz TrUe CuZ i tyPed LiKe ThIs yOu FaGz. I snapped out of it after about 3 months online, when I realised I wasn't new, original or clever. (It's why I still have hope for crash) I'll be doing that again in a month. Nope. I tried to withhold, unsuccessfully, coz I thought if people knew I was 13 the paedophiles would COME! COME! WHOO! But nah. I did sneak into the cinema 18+ once? I fully intend to it again. I'm so proud of myself.

I assumed that like most forums, you had to be 13 or over to join for whatever retarded reason, since I was 12 I put 14.
I've lied about my age to get into age-restricted films, and I'd lie to get into a nightclub. However, I don't lie to people over MSN or anything about my age; I don't see the point.

I never lied about it, I don't think, but my dad always lies about my age to get me into places for cheaper. Like we went to Knottsberry farm once, and I was 13, I think (but I looked about 15) and he made me pretend to be 11. It was horrible.

Hey, lying about your age isn't as bad as lying about your gender. I personally know of at least 3 or 4 dudes who convinced fellow players in FFXI that they're girls when they're, uh, not.
It's kind of disturbing. Especially when I see posts by these guys in FFXI forums saying things like, "it's so hard being a girl and getting hit on all the time in the game."

I've never lied about my age. I've lied about my identity, and took on the identity of someone who was not my age so that I could see this age restricted thing that totally wasn't worth all the effort I put into seeing it. But never about my age.
I always lie about everything. Just for personal entertainment, of course. It's more fun if someone gets hurt in the process. Physically.
I've always looked older than my age, so I've never really had to.
I think I lied to get into a 15 movie when I was 14 ... I was never that rebelious :D

Nope. Though I should have. Brats on the internet constantly try to make me feel ashamed of my age for some ungodly reason. But I'm mature enough to admit how long I've been on this earth. Among other things. I'm one of those people who'll tell you their home address even if they don't know you. Just cause. I'm honest. And I find it fun. Especially when I run across a pathalogical liar or someone unreasonably afraid of passing information over the internet.

I have never lied about my age though people who make IDs are not always the brightest. I have one ID saying I was born in April, another in September. The sad thing is the one with Sept, the girl was looking at my birth certificate while typing it, though she was probably looking at the examiner's sheet whose eight looked like a nine...

Back when I thought the Internet was serious business, I lied about my age on another forum, because these people kept attacking me for being the youngest member there (even though I was pretty mature for my age and knew how to type and spell). I was about....13 at the time, so I put my age at 16. Nobody even noticed that I lied about my age then.
What's even funnier is, I turned 17 (for real) in August, and nobody called me on that. Weird.

No need for me to lie about my age, im 18, so i can do pretty much anything apart from those rare 21+ nightclubs, most are 18. I used to always lie to get into films etc (how good you feel when you fool them!), but not in person.
The bday on my license was wrong for almost three years until I turned 21 a second time. When I went and got it fixed the DMV totally freaked out, but it was worth it to enjoy two 21st bday's in the bars.
When I was 12 I lied about being 13 so I could get in to a Marvel RPG on AOL. >.>
I was there for like two years so I kept that game up saying I was one year older than I really was.

I don't lie about my age, but I do enter 1970 as my birth year on tons of nosy web forms.
People usualy think I'm much younger or treat me like a married lady. No way in between. :(
