Favourite Battle System?
chaos: Give it up to VI. :D
1.locate the fiend
2.take out sword
3.kill fiend
4.continue walking along
Gotta love FFXI innovative battle system that FFXII should be very close to. How cool is it to have an orc chase you across a forrest for no good reason. If the loading times between zones didn't take so long the game would almost be perfect imo.
There all a bit samey IMO ( until FFXII )
But the best idea was Materia....
Junction system kicked ass. then again it is my job to go for 8:greenie:
Battle system????
You mean Status/ability system:irked: :irked: :irked: :irked: :irked: :irked:
FFVII is my favorite but FFVIII and FFX are just as good in their own way.
I picked X-2, X, VIII, VII, and IV.
I liked X-2s idea of being able to change classes during battle, and I like not having to wait turn after turn.
X's sphere grid system was kind of fun, yet extremly tedious. I also liked the CTB, it gave me time to think.
VIII's junction system was just kickass. It made tanks out of my guys quickly.
VII's materia pwns for now and eternity
I liked being able to use 5 guys instead of 4 or 3, which is why I picked IV.
FFVIII's Junction System was THE BEST!!! :kaohappy2 I admit it was a little confusing in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it's REALLY helpful!!! :grinpink:
FFVII's Materia was annoying as hell, and don't even get me started on the FFX-2 Dress Spheres... I mean the outfits were really cool looking, but it was annoying when you had to wait for them to change if you wanted a special ability/spell, and then some of the Dress Spheres you had to get on you own and...yeah...it was bad. FFX Sphere Grid was okay, but I personally like it when the character's atributes and abilities level up on there own. And Materia is just gay. :D I like it when the character has everything with them all the time, and when you can customize them.
I like the Final Fantasy IX Battle System.
Junction is > than Materia, just as Sphere Grid is > than Dress-Sphere...xD?
Are we talking about the battle system or the stat/ability system?
If we're talking about the battle system, I go with X-2. It was just real fun, insane, and awesome. I loved being able to switch classes and have practically a whole different character in mid battle.
If we're talking about stat/ability system, I go with VII's Materia system, mainly because Materia was a real big part of the story and tied in so well.
Go FFVIII!!!! :D
I "Junction" my answer :D
Out all of the battle systems I found FF IX to be the one I crave more of. I enjoy the way you have the special attacks from each weapon. I also like the fact when you learn magical spells they Stay put.
FF IX and VII
Yay!!! :grinpink: Oh and by the way...AWESOME SIG SHADOWCRONO!!! :kaohappy2Quote:

Hm...well, they were all pretty abusable, except the traditional leveling up. I guess I'll go with FFV's Job system, though FFX's Sphere grid was funner than level grinding for hours. You get to move around and stuff  That was before I discovered the Don Tonberry trick though :p:cry:
But anyway, with FFV's system, leveling up to above late 30s isn't neccesary, if you have the right jobs mastered. Of course, two certain power-beasts might require it :choc2:
Edit: Why is Junction winning? It was a nice idea, but the system is so incredibly broken, it's not funny. (Or maybe it's just FFVIII uber-fans who are voting for it ;))
Just wait until I master my answer, than I can take off this crappy armor.Quote:

I took the liberty of adding the best answer to the poll.
I will now move 5 spaces away from a threatening monster and calculate Holy CT 5 to wipe out every monster on the map and heal my Holy-absorbing party.
Lmao. :cat:Quote:
