Download the trailer.
It looks pretty awesome. From the looks of it the dungeon camera is fixed, but the environments are fully 3D. You'll get to use the stylus to direct your boomerang in the direction you want. Can't wait for this!

sweet!
chaos: Wow, that game looks pretty nice. It seems like Nintendo is picking up.
Albedo: Definetly. *laughs maniacally*
Well, once this actually comes out, I'm going to have to buy a DS. :p
I lost my stylus. :(
Looks like you can replace them pretty cheaply.
I'm wondering if there's going to be any sort of Twilight Princess/Phantom Hourglass connectivity. Even if there's not, having the use of the stylus will probably have a considerable impact on the gameplay. It seems that with each new Zelda title, Nintedo does something to keep it fresh and make it all the more fun.
Saw this on digg, and yeah, it's gonna be rockin' pretty hard, it looks.
I was just talking to a friend about how much I hoped a new Zelda title came out for the DS sometime soon. Definetly going to have to get this the day it's released.
It looks very awesome, that's for sure. :D
I know how you feel. :(Quote:

So many Zelda games ;_; Why can't Nintendo do something magical when they create something new. Geist never had a chance. They just don't try as hard if it's not Mario, Zelda, or Metroid.
And people whine about Square milking certain things xD
It's good that it's not a Four Swords game, but it's too bad that it uses the Wind Waker art style, which has been in four games already. Considering the second-most prevalent styles in the series come in at two games each, five is getting well beyond ubiquitous.
Hey i was playing The Wind Waker just yesterday.
I knew there was a reason I keep my DS around. And yeah, Nintendo HAS done Zelda A LOT. But in my opinion, they've all been great, even if people (including me) don't exactly like some of the art-styles. The thing is, Zelda is established, Geist was a new concept, and with GameCube already waning, people would rather spend the money on a sure thing.
Sorry, that was a little off, but anyway, I can't wait. Minish Cap was the best portable experience I've had recently, aside from FF: DOS and FFIV Advance, but we've all played those before, right? A new Zelda is more than enough reason to be excited for me!
I agree with Vyk here..
I liked the gameboy colour Zeldas, but thats it the others arent that nice....im getting Twilight Princess though, at least to test it.
What about Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages? That's three games with the same style.Quote:

Edit: I completely take back what I said. The game looks absolutely wonderful! n_n The 2D/3D thing works better than I would have expected in a Zelda Game. Also, there's a fairy. I love fairies. The ability to control the boomerang with the stylus is cool as well. And the ability to decide the path of your boat is good, too. Real time sea navigating is just so boring. ;)
Art style, not...sprite style. Link's Awakening had the same style as A Link to the Past, and the Oracles games shared a style, naturally. That's two and two.Quote:

Thanks for the link Azar!
I thought Wind Waker's style was interesting. I must be the only one...
Regardless, I WILL be getting this. *Zelda freak*
How many Zelda games is this now. The series just seems to keep going and going and going.
Even though Final Fantasy is almost as old as Zelda the Final Fantasy games though are not connected like the Zelda games are I guess.
So it is strange that they just keep on making more and more Zelda games. It seems instead of having a storyline in mind they just come up with different ideas on a whim and create a game over a new idea that they have.
Well yeah. 'Cause they all have the same storyline :] Since they refuse to change that (for some odd reason) that's all they can do
Anyone else notice Navi is back?
I hope she isn't... quite as annoying as the original. XD
I second that. WW's style was fun.Quote:

Can you list those four games?
- The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
That one brown area, though... it didn't look like a regular Zelda dungeon. It looked more like a maze. It's probably just a room in a dungeon that looks like a maze. Yeah, that's definitely it.
