hmm mine is Craig, my mom and dad couldnt decide on my name at birth but it could have been worse than Steven Craig Causer-Smith (so it's my full name who gives?) because one of the names my dad wanted to give me was the polish equivalent of Fred or George. Atleast I only have to put up with my initials mirroring each other and the occasional Second Chance Sunday joke at work.
Maree. No reason behind it methinks. That used to be my mums middle name, but shes changed her name like three times since then. She has it now, but I think it'll be gone again soon.

In 1981 my daddy's best friend died in a car accident. (This makes sense.) His name was Michael Lynn Honeycutt. Daddy was sad, obviously.
Fast forward four years and I'm about to be born! Daddy is the official namer, and he decides on Megan as a first name. But he can't think of anything to go with it. In January some friends pop in for a surprise visit, and they were people who knew both Daddy and Michael. This gets Daddy to thinking about him and the name just kind of clicks. So I become Megan Lynn.

Allen. I don't know the reasoning behind it, only that I dislike it and don't refer to my middle name ever.
My middle name is Elizabeth, after my Aunt.
My aunt's actual name is Elizabeth, but her middle name is Joy. My mom and her were quite close when they were growing up, and my mother's middle name is also Joy, so my sister got it for her middle name too. I guess Morgan Joy just doesn't have as much a ring as Morgan Elizabeth.
