I would say the one where the Black Walzt 3 attacks, the music fits perfectly and you can see the malice and evil of #3. Personally its my favite FF Moment ever.

its got to be running out of the evil forrest at the start.
Yeah, running away from Evil Forest or when the cool Alexander came in at Alexandria..^^
Best cutscene: To the Lifa Tree, where the Silver Dragons battle the Airships:eek: ............the music's sooo perfect with that sequence, and it just rules:D :D !!!!!
I'll pick my 3 fave's cos 1 isn't enough.
1. Bahamut/Alexander showdown (delicious)
1. Silver Dragons attack. I'm actually changing my mind a bit. They're both my No. 1's.
3. All the rest. :D
In no particular order:
-Evil Forest
-Black Waltz 3 Strikes
-All Queen Brahne summon scenes
-Bahamut/Alexander Showdown(probably my fave,that was soooo cool)
-Kuja's destruction of Terra
-Dragon Attack
-The end
Actually. I'm changing. I literally can't pick a favourite cutscene. They're all my favourites. I'm such a wuss :D:D
* Opening FMV
* Black Waltz 3
* Kuja's premiere FMV in Burmecia
* Garnet singing in Lindblum garden
* Lindblum is attacked by Atomos
* the summoning of Bahamut
* Garnet discovers Alexander
* Alexandria is under Bahamut's attack
* showdown between Bahamut/Alexander
* the silver dragons
* destruction of Cleyra
* Ending FMV
Anything with Dagger singing and when she cut her hair. And the destruction of Terra. (And similarly, entering Terra.)
All of the FMVs.
Zidane: Both scenes where Zidane & Garnet embrace.
I liked the alexander vs. bahamut one that was a sweet one.
Anyone know all the FMV sequences? That way i can make an entire top list^_^
The escape from Black Waltz 3
Kuja destroying Terra

My toplists per disc:
Disc1:
1. Vivi's Defence (fight with the Black Waltz, through the Gate to Lindblum)
2. Defeat in Burmecia (First (and cool) appearance of Kuja)
3. Fleeing the Fiends (Escape from Evil Forest (but how can Steiner, in the suit of armor AND carrying Dagger, and Vivi with his short Oompa-Loompa legs POSSIBLY OUTRUN ZIDANE??:D )
4. Garnet Jumps (Dagger fleeing the castle, being chase by Zidane and Steiner)
5. Prima Vista Enters Alexandria (Vivi!^^)
6. Opening (Dagger's dream about her and her mother at sea)
7. Black Waltz #3's Attack (Bad-ass Black Waltz launches off (dropping of other black mages:cry: ))
8. A Town in a Castle (first view of Lindblum:) )
9. Crash Landing (with a cool slowmo explosion of the Prima Vista)
10. The Plant Brain (that boss in Evil Forest:cool: )
11. Performance Begins (Dagger and Brahne looking at the show)
12. Rough Escape (of the Prima Vista)
13. Release of the Bomb ("Someone set us up the bomb" :D)
14. Dagger's Song (yeah, meh)
15. Cargo Ship, Lift Off! (.........)
:) Okay, that's one disc:p
Alexander Vs. Bahamut and Vivi's Defence.
My favorite cutscene is where Black Waltz No. 3 is chasing Zidane, Vivi, Dagger, & Steiner through south gate. How Vivi just cast the Fire spell on him was just so awesome! The music is also perfect for a chase scene.

Okay, I loved all of them. I don't think I could ever sample out just a few, they were all outstanding.
Amen.
I like the end and the one where dagger cuts her hair off.
Same here. That was a very emotional scene.Quote:

If there ever was an FF9 movie, it would need to have scenes like the one quoted above.Quote:

then again, why not just all of them!
Not really all. The few that should have had kissing to make the adventure feel worthwhile but weren't there, gets a bit of a thumbs down from me.
:\
No, I mean it seriously. Unless you are some crazy otaku trying to go after Excalibur 2, it takes quite a while to complete the game, and I felt something was lacking in the ending part that should have made all that time spent really worthwhile, and personally I think its the missing kissing scenes.
well, there were hugs, tears and laughs. If Garnet kissed Zidane it would change the feel of the game comepletely.
yeah i think that because garnet was proud and unyielding to zidane that the love story really worked! you could see it blossoming but becuase of the "lady and the tramp" kinda problem she never did anything......the class diferences and pride really made the main characters seem real! but yeah back on subject i think FF9's FMV's were the best FMV's overall in any FF (FF10 comes second and FF8 comes third) and i'll be damned if i have to choose between them!
yeah.
Well, I do love it when Dagger cuts her hair! It gives me a goosebumpy feeling...:p
Trance Kuja destroying Terra and the White Dragon Invasion.
those 2 above are great. the black waltz 3 scenes are some of the best.
If you look really well, at the very end, when the camera zooms out of Zidane and Garnet for the last time (when they're hugging). You 'll notice that they look at eachother and just before they start kissing you 'll see Terra and Gaia merging! remember that? look really well, I 'm pretty sure of this!Quote:

The one where Garnet and Eiko are... Doing something in the castle (my memory is very vague), then it all 'sploded or something and Zidane swooped in and grabbed 'em or something along those lines... I don't quite remember what happened, but that FMV made my heart jump!
Yeah that was a goodun. Made me all happy inside :D
White dragon invasion and where zidane goes back for kuja (i dont care if its not even cutscene graphics, it owns)
The Finale
