Aaah! My eyes! Part 2

Why every video game fanboy with brown hair thinks he looks like Squall (who is really supermodel material) is beyond me! There really should be a law stating that if you're going to cosplay a hot and slim character, you should atleast be.... hot and slim. Well, slim, anyway.

Trying to find a decent-looking Squall cosplayer is like wading through a cesspool in search of a diamond, but, miracle of miracles, after much searching, I finally found a couple that aren't half bad. So, to help relieve your bleeding eyes: http://cosplay.otaku.ru/img/vr3/squall02.jpg
He is MAJOR GORGEOUS for a male cosplayer, IMO. (Though not even close to Squall, of course.)

P.S. I know it's cheap of me to keep taking potshots at cosplayers, but they're such easy targets....:D And they deserve it! For their crimes against manga, anime and games. *snigger*

I know what you mean, but I find that it is mostly caucasian cosplayers that make a mockery of it. You can never really find any good white cosplayers. I guess we are just too damn lazy to get some awesome costumes or something like that.

Or, you know, look physically fit :P

But yeah, I don't think anything can beat the 'please pour acid into my eyes!!' factor of the Kuja one. :cat: :eep: That second Squall one is actually really nice. Too bad there's no Rinoa to go with him. :choc2: The Rinoa in the first picture isn't so bad, IMO.

OMG,the first Squall has obesity.

i prefer cosplayers who actually have respect for the things they are dressing up as instead of totally mocking it like the first picture.

I would dress up as Squall, but I don't want to have people dying from over-sexification. By the way can we have some Quistis cosplay? Please? Preferably good?

I'd dress up as Squall too, but someone would probably take pictures & post them on the net,
then make links here & I might get abuse like the first Squall wannabe.
But I'd do a better job than him.
Think I'll stick with Cloud first.

I've attached a picture of another Squall cosplayer who shouldn't have even bothered. These people do realise that Squall is 17, right? The amount of middle-aged Squall wannabees is truly horrifying.

Also, here's some evidence of a disturbing trend among the cosplay community: (overweight) female Squall cosplayers. Just.... wrong, on so many levels.

What usually makes cosplayers look ridiculous is
that their costumes look like they are made out of paper. They cant ever seem to get any that look good. I would think Squall's would be easy, considering it is just a leather coat and gloves, and regular black pants and white shirt. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah,only the obese Squall and the girl Squall has scar(I no count uncle Squall).The cool Squall has no scar,too bad he missed out on that though.If not,he'd lookeven more like Squall.

Why is it that the "cool" (is that what we're calling him?) Squall reminds me of that kid in Terminator?

I was just thinking..... Squall's design was supposedly influenced by River Phoenix, right? (Even though River was a blond, tan hippie - with rather small light blue eyes and an upturned nose.... Nothing like Squall, in my opinion.)

Why on earth is that second Squall wannabe holding a guitar? There's no reason to believe that Squall plays guitar. He has no time, nor the interest to play a musical instrument. He just wants to bust some @$$.

And that fool doesn't even have the guitar strapped on right.
