The swear jar, ah, EoFF should have something like this, everytime you say smurf or [img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img] or even dodge the swear filter you put 2p in a jar at the end of the month you have to donate this certain amount to the forum, a price for swearing! I know this is what you are planning! This isn't my idea! I overheard you guys in your org meeting!

People who know me will tell you that I swear a lot. And I mean a lot. Though I have never considered making use of a "swear jar", as you so elegantly put it. :greenie:

Imagine if all of EoFF had to do this! If the admins go through with this plan we're seriously smurfed up people :(.

Do racial slurs count as swearing? I use them a lot. But I use them as a swear word instead of using it to describe a race.

What about words that are minor swearwords where you come from but appear to be very similar to certain 'bad' swearwords? I aint dumb enough to post it yet.

It's good to swear every once in a while but absuing like there aint any tomorrow sucks. Different people have different views on swearing though, some words fall into it, others don't.

I can't afford a swear jar. :p I swear a lot more than most EoFFers think, but that's just because most EoFFers think I'm 'clean' because I have to set an example around here.

I couldn't afford a swear jar either. I swear all the time. More offline than I do online, and a few people could testify that I swear a fair amount online as it is. :p
