If you ever changed your characters names,what names did you give them?

Well,some people never go with the original names,like me.I never ever used their original names,no matter how many times I played it.So,if you ever changed your characters' names,what names did you give them and why?

Zidane---Grandel,stnads for something like grand theft.
Garnet/Dagger---Swifty,daggers are light,so they attack fast and SWIFT,therefore,Swifty.
Steiner---Rhasta,for rusty.:D
Vivi---Mysto,he's mysterious,isn't he?
Quina---Queenie,he/she looks more like a girl to me,so I gave a female name.
Freya---Ratchel,like what Zidane called her.;)
Eiko---Kiko.Sounds more kiddy and more japanese.
Amarant---I loled at this.Since he's dressed in red,I called him Apyro(pyro stands for fire,something like that but definitely fire).Then he tells me in this sentence,"People call me the flaming Apyro."lol

I like Amarant's name as it is. He's a kind of monk healer, and the herby flower called Amaranth is supposed (by Greeks) to have healing properties. Bet you didn't know that ;)

Freya - Tifa

Eiko - Yuffie

I called Garnet celes, but other than that I kep the names the same.

The only time i changed a characters name was when i called Garnet Pleb outside Ice Cavern to see if the Octogen Rod cheat worked. It didn't. :mad:

I wouldn't change their names. I always stick with their default names

I named Steiner prescot cos he looked like John prescot.
I named eiko annoying
and vivi was Bikky
and the rest the same

And quina was froggy or the 2nd time it was lump

My friend renamed Eiko, B****.:D

I changed Dagger to Blade, because Daggers are well rubbish. Vivi stays as Vivi, no contest. Zidane becomes Maxx. Steiner becomes Cecil. Freya becomes Kaine (see what I did there?). Quina becomes Jar Jar. Eiko becomes Rosa.

He was watching Robot Wars at the time.

The only name change I did was Freya to Freija. I read somewhere that Freija is technically the proper way to spell out, although the pronounciation is still the same. Some European languages, the j sounds something else like Jose for "Hosey" in spanish, or it can be 'y' sounding. Since I am a stickler for being authentic about languages I did the above change. The rest stayed the same.

I was extremely simple minded at the time, so please try not to laugh as much.

Zidane - Arrow / Tyler / Monkey / Alter (don't ask!) / Stanley / I can't remember the rest.
Garnet / Dagger - Ashley / I don't remember the rest
Vivi - Zues / Puck (to rub it in the rat's face)
Freya - Paine / Cleyra / I don't remember the rest
Steiner - Rusty
Quina - Frog~e
Eiko - Rosie (I didn't know how to read so I named her something I could read.....)
Armarant - Harry (same for "Rosie")

The only name I change when I play the game is Dagger to Garnet. I like the default names; they're certainly much better than anything I could possibly come up with.

Well currently, I'm changing these names to:

Freya: Amelia
Eiko: Mollie
Amarant: Red/I dunno yet
Quina: Bobo

In my current game, I thought this was cool...

I left the other names intact.
